From TLC:
(Silver Spring, MD) – TLC’s RETURN TO AMISH premieres a new season on Sunday, April 30th at 8/7c following the lives of Mary, Abe, Rebecca, Sabrina, Jeremiah and Carmela. As they continue to acclimate to a new culture after leaving their Amish community behind, the crew is realizing life doesn’t get any easier over time. Six new two-hour episodes will dive into the heavy choices and struggles the ex-Amish must overcome to survive in the new world they entered into several years ago.
This season, the gang faces their greatest challenges yet. Mary finds herself at a crossroads with some of the Punxsutawney Amish when an elder denies her access to her own father’s funeral. Feeling betrayed, Mary decides to try a number of the English activities she’s always resisted. But will her husband Chester get caught between his wife and his community?
The struggle to keep a family together doesn’t stop there. Sabrina is pregnant with her second child and in a renewed custody battle for her daughter, Oakley. Against Abe’s wishes, Rebecca seeks to get her GED in an effort to become a more independent woman, sparking tension between the two. Newlyweds Jeremiah and Carmela find themselves struggling with their marriage as they try to move cross country and start their own family.
With Abe and Rebecca refusing to speak with Sabrina, and Jeremiah and Carmela already at odds in the first year of marriage, the group is as splintered as ever. Now Mary is taking it upon herself to bring everyone back together as the strong family they once were.

Please bring back the show. At least we get to see a look at a different way of life and how breaking of rules seem to happen all the time for everyone. What happened to Kate and Chapel with her cancer? The one thing I think the show should put out in the open is more fact’s of Sabrina’s addictions. Abe and his wife are so cruel to her. They should learn about addiction and pushing her away is not the best way to treat her. Sabrina need’s to get more mental help and keep in counceling so she can… Read more »
