In the irony of ironies, FOX has not given Second Chance a second chance. Buzzfeed News reports the network has cancelled the drama after one season.
The freshman series starred Robert Kazinsky as a resurrected cop. Philip Baker Hall, Tim DeKay, Dilshad Vadsaria, and Adhir Kalyan also starred.
After going through several title changes, Second Chance didn’t seem to catch on with viewers. Season one ratings averaged a .64 in the 18-49 demo and a total of 2.430 million viewers.
Kazinsky confirmed the cancellation on his Twitter:

Love the show, so addicting, wish there was a second season. Disappointed that FOX cancelled it.
Maybe Netflix should buy the concept from them. Off course it wont get a good TV rating. most of us are always playing catch up with shows, we don’t necessarily watch them at the time they’re played but that doesn’t the show was a bad one. Ratings kill good TV.
Wow i watched season 1 twice. I want season 2 right now!!!! Its almost 2018. Make it happen or ill never watch fox shows ever!!

Please give second chance a season 2 this show was awesome that’s a shame it was cancelled but I truly wish it wasn’t it was really getting good I loved it please come out with a second season
I just started watching this show on hulu. Give it another chance, I was immediately sucked in and binge watched 6 episodes in one night. I would love to see it go further and given more time to catch on.

Yes it should of got a season2 it would of been able to finish the story line out. In stead of leaving the veiwers that was watching the show hanging.

I think it was a shame that second chance didn’t continue I only found the series by chance and couldn’t wait to see the next episodes as did all the members of my family very disappointed when other shows that are not as good continue I think a show needs at least 2 seasons to see if it is successful as lots of people didn’t even know about it, I often find a series in to the 2nd or 3rd season then get hooked and can’t wait for more
