She’s Gotta Have It is adding yet another new face to its cast. Deadline reported that Kim Director, who has worked with Spike Lee on several past projects, will have a recurring role on the Netflix series.

The actress is not playing a role from the film though. She is playing a role created just for the new series. Deadline reported that Director will play “Bianca, a character not in the original film, new to the updated series.”
