Good news for Star fans! Co-creator Lee Daniels just announced the cancelled TV show will return for a feature-length movie.
The music drama follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy.
As reported earlier, FOX cancelled Star after three seasons this spring. Now, while the show will not be returning for a fourth season, co-creator Lee Daniels says the series will have a TV movie to wrap the story up.

Not only that…”STAR” IS A DARN GOOD SHOW! I am impressed with all of the characters and proud of the actors/actresses. The music is bomb too!

I think Arlene/Darlene or Alex’s stalker took the baby. It may have been someone competing in a show to distract or use a leverage to get a top spot

Please please please I’m begging you please bring Star back, I’ve watched the whole show from the day it aired up until the last episode in season3 and I’ve watched it at least 3 times since it’s been on Hulu and I am crying alligator tears because there’s no season4 I need to know what happened did Carlotta and her son make amends, who took Star and Noah’s son, you guys can’t just leave US fans hanging like that

How are you guys just going to cancel the show!?? That’s not right. We need to see what happens next. Does Angel die or does he survive? Does Carlotta and her son make ammends and get to know eachother? How does she deal with her sister’s death? Who took Star’s baby? Does she get him back? What about Arlene’s sister? Just got done watching the series on NETFLEX was very disappointed it was cancelled! Did the movie air if so where can I watch it only have netflex.

You clearly cancelled “Star” too soon. I prefer to binge watch TV, so I tend to wait til the end of the season to watch. You have no idea how many times my pre-teen has replayed the series seasons on HULU. Is there anything that can be done to bring it back?
