Good news for Star fans! Co-creator Lee Daniels just announced the cancelled TV show will return for a feature-length movie.
The music drama follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy.
As reported earlier, FOX cancelled Star after three seasons this spring. Now, while the show will not be returning for a fourth season, co-creator Lee Daniels says the series will have a TV movie to wrap the story up.

Cannot believe it’s cancelled, y’all really need to think twice about it. Why would you even go through the extreme of episode 18. What a waste. Should have stopped at 17. Star is really good. As for me I binged watched it when I could, due to my schedule.

I just finished the last episode of season 3 and I just about had a anger attack knowing it was already cancelled! PLEASE… we need to know WHAT HAPPENED????? That is NOT fair to the FANS, or to the cast to go out like that!
Yes, Definitely, Can’t wait to see how it all ends. When I saw that Star had been canceled It took a few minutes to sinc in. I thought it was a bad joke until I found some articles online to confirm the cancelation.

I for one will no longer invest any more time in ANY FOX shows, cool it didn’t get the ratings you wanted so you just quit and leave those that did watch it and love it just hanging? So basically screw us and leave is unfulfilled because we don’t count since we didn’t post no negative reviews or even have a chance to give a rating? I am so upset Star will not be coming back but I can’t wait to see the movie. I loved the story and the characters. I was so looking forward to watching a few more seasons, hopefully another network will pick it up-fingers crossed.
Star is one of the best shows. I have watched in a very long time. They need to stop taking off the good ones. And replacing them with junk. Leave STAR ALONE. Put season 4 on. God bless
