NBC hasn’t had much ratings success with licensed series like Crossing Lines and The Listener. Will Taxi Brooklyn be a different story? Will NBC want a second season or will they cancel this one too? Stay tuned!
Taxi Brooklyn follows Cat Sullivan (Chyler Leigh), a tough NYPD Detective who doesn’t let a demotion to foot patrol stop her from trying to find her father’s killer. She finds an unlikely ally in Leo Romba (Jacky Ido), a taxi driver from Marseille. The rest of the cast includes James Colby, Jose Zuniga, Jennifer Esposito, Bill Heck, Ally Walker, and Raul Casso.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
Update: How’s this show been doing? Cancelled or renewed?
Final season averages: 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 5.0 million total viewers.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page. You can also see them here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Taxi Brooklyn TV show? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Love it. My whole family watches it.
Please keep this show! It’s a refreshing summer show, where there are no real original shows on. I LOVE Leo and Kat’s chemistry!
Please renew Taxi Brooklyn!
One of my favorite shows. Please DO NOT cancel like you did other good shows like Trauma. Give Taxi Brooklyn a second season.
Funny, good, and please keep
This show is awesome. It’s a keeper
KEEPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please do not cancel this show and again please renew this contract for at least one or two seasons. Taxi Brooklyn has the perfect balance of comedy and seriousness, which is rarely found on other television law enforcement shows; with the exception of a case in point, a blunder like a certain show on FOX that was supposed to be comical and was not, nor serious but believe it is still on. For God’s sake you renewed Law & Order Svu, again, and I love it… However (in my opinion) that show has ran its course the moment that you… Read more »
I watch it with my mom! IMO this one’s a keeper, they all act well, there’s chemistry, there’s nice cohesion in the writing, entertaining, funny, witty, strong female lead. People are starting to watch it and I say give it a break… Although from personal experience NBC loves to betray its viewers, I’ve been left with a story line hanging horribly before with previous tv shows and had stopped watching NBC altogether, finally came back to AGT and learned of Taxi Brooklyn just by leaving the channel on cause they don’t advertise it. So I am guessing they are packing… Read more »
I really hope they don’t cancel this show. Love the characters and their chemistry. Has the action of a cop show, yet humorous sub plots that focus on the characters. LOVE IT!
have it on automatic record….hope it is renewed
Love Taxi Brooklyn – please do not cancel
I love this show. It’s campy, the leads have great chemistry. I am totally smitten with Jacky Ido’s Leo (OMG). Every week it’s better. The fact that the characters are quirky, unpredictable and NOT steroypes in any sense leads to an aboslute hour of celebration. It’s also refreshing to see the character development progress. Please renew this series!!!!!!! Even when the plot lines are over the top, it’s great because here is a show that’s smart enough to not to take itself too seriously and focus instead on great character development, solid work among all of the cast and continuing… Read more »
Enjoy this show very much and hope to see it renewed.
Love the show!
