From writer and executive producer Philipp Meyer, The Son stars: Pierce Brosnan, Henry Garrett, Zahn McClarnon, Paola Núñez, Carlos Bardem, Jacob Lofland, and Sydney Lucas.
Lee Shipman, Brian McGreevy and showrunner Kevin Murphy also executive produce the AMC TV series with Tom Lesinski and Jenna Santoianni.
The Son follows the metamorphosis of kindly Eli McCullough (Brosnan) into a cunning killer. After losing everything on the western frontier, Eli sets out to build a stunningly successful ranching-and-oil empire.
The Son is based on the Philipp Meyer novel. Season one will also air on SundanceTV.

Love this show. Very interesting to learn about the Mexico/Texas/US relationship. Would like to see less graphic series, i.e. torture of captured man by Native Americans, showed burning the man’s feet and hands. Too much visual display, could lend to other trying the same torture in today’s world. Too much violence.
This looks great! I love Pierce Brosnan so I’ll watch it no matter what.
