The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Over the course of four short days, I fell deeply and connected with this show as I stayed up all night finishing the entire first season on Netflix. It has so much opportunity to grow and blossom into something truly great. The character choice could not have been better. Although the story could have been clarified a little more, it got its point across and could been worked out in the second season. There should definitely be a second season of The Tomorrow People. Because Season one was fantastic!
I loved this show! I’m super upset that there is no season two! What the HECK! Come one! Make it! Just clarify the story a bit more and you will have a solid season two!

I have watched many shows over these past few months and i got to admit THE TOMORROW PEOPLE was by far one of the greatest ones that i have watched. And if they cancelled this show because of viewing on the airing date they can always add this on netflix it will for sure can many views on there.

This show is great! And the show tomorrow people deserve a second season and many more. I’m sure they will get more viewers and ratings if they did a second season not everyone can watch it at first when it first airs on tv. And it dumb to cancel the show because of it. I think they deserve a second shot at the show.
I will admit. I am an 18 year old high school senior and I am openly gay. Ever since I watched season one of the Tomorrow People, I have this Hollywood crush on Luke Mitchell and Robbie Amell. When these two actors aren’t wearing shirts, they are extremely well built. I would love to meet both of them in person.
