The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

My boyfriend and I just spent two days watching this on Netflix. This is bull that there’s not another season. We didn’t know about the show and are glad that Netflix had it. CW needs to give shows like this more time to catch on. A lot of us like to binge watch these, and then we start watching them the 2nd season. PLEASE BRING THIS SHOW BACK!
It was a great show, I was looking forward to the second season. I don’t know why a thing like ratings cancelled it. Just because a the damn Nelsonites didn’t watch the show didn’t mean that common folk didn’t. I know several people that loved it.
thats some bull **** had great potential and was looking forward to seeing better development for the story, it was a great first season and pisses me off to leave it this way.

Bring back the tomorrow people!! I too never knew this show existed if it was not for Netflix. I say here glued to my tv for 2 days watching this show!! I never knew about The Origionals” either . ( thank netflix for that shows viewing as well) I say whoever is going the advertising for the CW just stinks!! Bring back the Tomorrow People !! Please?

If the ratings for great shows are not up to par maybe the CW should advertise the show a little better, I agree that the CW has made some great shows and they almost always cancel them just after 1 or even half a season. To be honest, shows like Supernatural has been on for way too long.
