The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I am totally devastated. I have been patiently waiting on the next season. Have the broadcasters thought that maybe this show was not properly advertised and if it had been would have got more viewers. I stumbled onto this by accident and got totally hooked. I got my daughter to watch 2 episodes and she was totally hooked after that, she will also by annoyed that the programme has been shelved. This programme appealed to a range of ages for example I am 50 and by daughter is 26.
Please reconsider.
I am 50 years old. I just started watching the tomorrow people and now find out there won’t be a 2nd season. I for one am furious.
There’s no reason TTP should’ve been canceled! It was a great show and should be brought back as soon as possible

How come when there is a great show someone has to go and cancel it. It takes a little while to find a great show or stumbling on one like we did The tomarrow people. How about making shows just for Netflix that would be awesome. We have disabled people here and movies help take there mind off the pain. Thankyou
i thought the show was amazing. From the perspective of a teenage guy who developed these powers with a parental hidden past they he had to stumble upon the truths all while dealing with this elite task force becoming a double agent are u kidding me wants not to like. People sometimes dont give much a chance for anything an dont know what a good thing is when it slaps them across the face.

I personal don’t have cable it’s expensive. I go through Netflix and hulu I really enjoy this series and was waiting for it to be on hulu or Netflix when It finally does I find its been cancelled and that sucks for a lot of people who only watch hulu or Netflix.
I really liked the tomorrow people, I was anticipating the new season! Very disappointed t. was drop!

Please bring back the tomorrow people. It was an excellent show. If you want more fans try more advertising! It’s funny how people are commenting they found it on Netflix instead of the main CW channel.
