The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

WHAT?! WHY?! I recently just started to watch The Tomorrow People & it’s GREAT! I also saw a few scenes of Star-crossed and loved it too! Why would they cancel shows that viewers are actually enjoying and ending the season with cliff hangers that they don’t plan to continue! Makes no sense. I am BEGGING…Pleeeeeaaassseeee bring them back!!!

The Tomorrow People is my favorite show. I started watching them on Netflix last week and i’m almost done with season 1. Please bring them back!!

The tomorrow people is the best show in the entire world! I also discovered it on netflix and stayed up till 3 am yesterday watching the show. I agree if you chane the channel it’s on and time… People would die over this show. It’s so good!! Please don’t cancel it!!
Why would you ever cancel a show leaving you off on such a cliff hanger and not even do another season. Bring it back!!!
i just found out about this show on netflix, i didnt even know it existed… but im about half way through and i love it so far, so i decided to look in to when it would be aired again…im very dissapointed that the show has been canceled. i know for a fact that it could have way more viewers if it were moved to a more popular channel and/or given an earlier air time… for example, if it moved to amc, or fx, or even abc, it would easily have way more viewers… please try to bring it back.… Read more »

No it shouldn’t have been canceled. How could they have even canceled it especially we other the end information of the first season obviously showing that there is going to be a season two.

I’m so mad. The Tomorrow People and Star-crossed are my favorite shows. Now I have nothing to look forward to. Please bring them back. I’m pretty sure those other shows are dumb.
