The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Great series need to reconsider a second season with more advertising or sell the series to another station for a second series. CW make a second season.
They didn’t advertise it well enough very good show great series with a jumper the movie feel. Bring it back for anther try with more advertising

I waited for months for the show to come out and after if finally did… not only did it live up to what I expected but it was so much better. This shoe bis one of my favorites and I would love for it to come back!!!!

I just started watching this show on netflix and can’t stop, until I get to episode 22 that is. Yes, the show seems reminiscent of the 2008 movie Jumper, which I thought had a pretty shallow plot line. The thing that I liked about The Tomorrow People was the way the story was told. It built on it’s characters much in the way Lost did, a little at a time with flashbacks to reveal secrets of each character, all the while building on each one and their relationships with each other. I am very sorry to see it go.

I’ve been waiting on season 2 and looking for season one on dvd or on demand.
I’m VERY disappointed about its cancellation.
