Is Matt LeBlanc leaving Top Gear? Variety reports the actor’s status as host is uncertain for the next season of the BBC series.
After a major cast shakeup, LeBlanc was hired as a co-host for season 23 alongside Chris Evans. Earlier, we reported Evans was leaving after one season, leaving LeBlanc as the presumptive host of the popular car series.
Since season 23 debuted this past May, LeBlanc has been cast as the lead in CBS’ upcoming sitcom Man With a Plan. In the comedy, the Friends star plays a contractor who spends more time at home with his kids after working most of the time.
Because of this new role, BBC is reportedly in talks with LeBlanc about his availability for the next season of Top Gear. No decisions have been announced yet.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Top Gear? Do you want LeBlanc to return?
