Here’s some Interesting Charmed trivia for fans of the Halliwell sisters.
Several of the actors on Charmed are veterans of other Aaron Spelling shows. Dorian Gregory (Officer Darryl Morris) appeared on Beverly Hills, 90210 which starred Shannon Doherty for several seasons. Alyssa Milano starred on Melrose Place.
In the original Charmed series pilot, Phoebe was played by actress Lori Rom who went on to recurring roles on Party of Five, Providence and Jack & Jill). Lori was replaced by Alyssa Milano and the Phoebe scenes were re-shot to include Alyssa.
In the first episode, there’s a newspaper that says, “Police Doubt Fire Was Accidental.” This paper was also used as a prop in the movie Mrs. Doubtfire. That movie starred Robin Williams and also took place in San Francisco. In the movie, Robin Williams’ character used the second and third word of the headline to invent the title character’s name.
Each of the Halliwell sisters died several times during the series. Prue died three times, Piper died nine times, Phoebe died seven times and Paige died six times. All returned to life with the exception of Prue when Shannon Doherty left the show.
Holly Marie Combs & Alyssa Milano are the only actors to appear in every episode of the series. If you count the unaired pilot, Holly Marie Combs alone holds that distinction. Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, Brian Krause (Leo) and Jennifer Rhodes (Grams) are the only actors to appear in every season of the series.
As predicted in the season three episode entitled “All Halliwell’s Eve,” the first name of Phoebe’s true love begins with a “C” — Coop (or was it truly Cole?).
The scene at the end of the next-to-last episode when the Manor is blown up was actually the last scene of the series ever shot.
The final shot of the series of the Manor doors closing is the same shot used in the season 4 episode “Witch Way Now?”. The reduced season eight budget prevented new scenes from being shot on location for the final season.
The series left enough information on how all the sisters lineage continues…..why can’t a spin off be made? Three sisters, three children each, a lot of new powers to explore, it’s better than no charmed at all!!!!!
My favourite thing in the world is charmed When I get home from school all I do is go on the internet and go on charmed and then just watch charmed for the rest of the day. So keep killing Demons and please make up with Billie and Christie.

I am still really sad to see that Charmed will not continue as a series. I still watch the series on TNT, but would really have loved to see the story continue. The show was really good for girls and women of all ages. If thre is ever a chance that the show could come back on air, I hope the network, or a new network will consider it.
I need more charmed. I addicted and charmed is my drug. Please bring it back.
Charmed was awsome. A spin off would be great. I doubt this will happen since the combintion btwn UPN and WB after that combination so many show was cancelled with out tidy ending so i am just thankful charmed had its happy ending. the Cw is awful and should be seperated back into its respected stations.
i cant believe your cancelling charmed it is one of the best shows i have ever watched.i think you should carry it on and have new series with the sons grown up.please please make a new series of charmed, you are dissapointing a lot of people.
I watch charmed everyday My three children watch it everyday, i don’t think you should let charmed end at all it is a GREAT show and there are not too many of those left
I really wish charmed was still going, I have been watching it since I was a young teenager. It is the first show I watched regular and now I watch the re-runs on TNT everyday!
I would like to see again shannen doherty in charmed series.
Charmed was and is still my favorite show ever. I know so many people who became big fans and still are! I have all the seasons on DVD…these women are amazing and I would have loved to have seen this series continue. It was great television for the whole family and my children loved it as well, and still do watch it. I was very disappointed to hear of the series’ finale. It’s really sad that when something great comes along for the whole family, somebody somewhere decides that it needs to end. Very sad. The obnoxious and vulgar shows… Read more »
