A double dose of trouble is in store for Once Upon a Time. Recently, executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz spoke with Entertainment Weekly about season six of the ABC series.
Earlier, we reported the upcoming season will feature new characters Sinbad and Scheherezade.
When asked about Regina’s (Lana Parrilla) new split self, Kitsis says season six will definitely show what the Evil Queen is capable of:
The two roles are obviously going to be very separate in the sense that we saw a snippet of an Evil Queen who looked at what Regina has become and is very disappointed. If she’s unleashed, she would show Regina what ripping away everyone’s happy ending truly looks like.”
Horowitz added that the Jekyll and Hyde split will explore Regina’s inner darkness:
There’s a lot of questions to be asked about what it means when you separate parts of yourself and can you really separate these parts of yourself?”
Season six of Once Upon a Time premieres on September 25th.
Today, Horowitz teased a snippet from the premiere’s script:
Excited to announce our #OnceUponATime S6 premiere date is Sunday 9/25! Hope to see ya! (Also here's a #scripttease) pic.twitter.com/DCeTNWMSrD
