Are you a fan of This Is Us? NBC’s breakout series just ended its first season recently, and the network has already renewed it for season two and for season three. What do you think? Will you stick around for more or, have you had enough?

The drama follows a group of seemingly unconnected people as their paths cross and their life stories intertwine in curious ways. The cast includes Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, and Ron Cephas Jones.

During its freshman season, This Is Us became both NBC‘s highest-rated new series and the network’s most-watched show overall for the 2016-2017 season. Recently, executive producer Glenn Ficarra revealed season two might explore Jack (Ventimiglia) and other characters more in depth:

We’ve gotten to see Jack from a certain perspective this season. I think we might get him from another perspective, and other characters … It’s kind of an endless canvas.”

SPOILER ALERT! Certainly, many fans were shocked (and angered) by events in the season finale. The episode was filled with flashback scenes of how Jack and Rebecca (Moore) first met, mixed with their relationship falling apart.

Moore was shocked by any backlash that resulted from the finale. She wrote, “And for those somehow frustrated with the finale not revealing how Jack passed, I would encourage patience. Otherwise you might be watching the wrong show. Last night was fundamental to the bigger picture. The story deviated and ultimately landed on (I think) a more compelling question… what was the state of this relationship in the end? And as Milo so eloquently stated, let’s focus on how the man lived! Stay tuned cause it’s all leading somewhere and we’re just getting started.”
