Compared to Unforgettable’s series debut a year earlier, CBS was down by 14% in the demo (vs a 2.9 rating) and down by 4% in viewers (vs 14.09 million). While the viewership is very impressive, the demo is less so and CBS has cancelled many series for low demo numbers.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Vegas TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
please keep Vegas on the air we watch it every week we really enjoy the story lines
They say the only people who watch are over sixty. Yes I am over sixty and watch it every week. Maybe they think that young people can’t relate to the sixties. Well there are still plenty of us “old” people that watch TV and we can relate to it because we lived it! Please don’t cancel Vegas. It is one of the few shows we watch on national TV.
Please do not cancel Vegas. It has GREAT actors and episodes. If everyone would watch more than one or two episodes to get to know the characters, they would be hooked! LOVE VEGAS!
I didnt even know this was on! And Im a talk radio producer! CBS has done a terrible job promoting the show. Which is great and Im now watching all the episodes in a two day viewing marathon. Itd be a shame if such a great show was ended early because of the newtwork’s marketing failure.
I say “vegas”, the show should be renewed for a 2nd season. This was a great new show. I liked it alot. Including the actors, they were the perfect ones, to act in the show. Especially Dennis Quaid. He looked great playing ww the sheriff. Micheal Chikilis was great playing the owner of the casino. The show should be renewed for a second season. This was a great new show. Please make “vegas” return back on tv. I say anyone would like it. Including me.
I LOVE VEGAS pleace keep it on
I love this show & hope it gets renewed for Season 2. There was a comment written in TV Guide that the show “hasn’t fared well in the 18-49 demographic & that the median viewer age is 60.7.” So what!!!! Apparently, people over 60 years old don’t qualify as viewers of Vegas. It is a shame that only the “younger” demographic is considered qualified!
Please do NOT cancel Vegas. Great show, great cast!
Please leave it on the air I love this show vegas
Please do not cancel this show… Like Unforgetable..some demographics enjoy these types of programming..not everyone is into mindless-unfunny sitcoms that go on forever…please give Vegas another season & see if ratings pick up. Sometimes it take more than 1 to get going & word of mouth may lend a hand if you just give it another season of time..don’t be like the “new” generation of today in which everything is all for instant gratification…Another season may surprise your Exectutives…
Yes, please renew..Love it for all the obvious reasons..Just like Unforgetable(another tradgedy to lose) Just because certain demograhics don’ tune in( they prefer mindless un-funny sitcoms) please don’t disregard those of us that know what quality reallt is…..
Love this show, great talent, gets better each week, love the characters and how we get to know them better each week. This show needs to be brought back for a second season. CBC not just 19 to 49 year olds watch Tv. 11 million viewers ought to mean somenthing.
I AM OF THE OLDER DEMOGRAPHICS AND I LOVE THIS SHOW I LOVE THE SETTING AND THE VALUES OF THE CHARACTERS. I DISLIKE REALITY SHOW.
Terrific show, great cast, and one of the few network programs I watch on a regular basis!
i think that when there rating a tv series they should think about the people over 49 years of age .the baby boomers are avery large group of people that spend alot of money. it may be food for thought for the advertisers. we don’t seem to be considered when it comes to ratings for tv shows . maybe we should give the same thought when buying the products they sell.
