ABC has renewed Wipeout for a seventh season. As before, two dozen contestants will try to work their way throught the oversized obstacle course each episode. This time however, the winners of each installment will return at the end of the season to compete for the Ultimate Wipeout Champion title.

The seventh season will also include special themed episodes, as well as a chance to win a date with co-host Jill Wagner.

Matt Kunitz, Wipeout creator and executive producer, said, “We are always looking for ways to keep the show fresh and exciting. This year, we are amping up the competition with a season long tournament of champions.”
