While Young & Hungry was originally given a season orders of 10 episodes, back in January, Freeform doubled the total order to 20. A couple of weeks before that, the cable channel decided not to move forward with the proposed spin-off. Were the two decisions related? Although the ratings saw a small increase last season, will the sitcom be able to build on its growth? Will Young & Hungry be cancelled or renewed for season six? Stay tuned.
Young & Hungry stars Emily Osment, Jonathan Sadowski, Aimee Carrero, Kym Whitley, and Rex Lee, with Bryan Safi recurring. The Freeform TV series features food blogger, Gabi Diamond (Osment), who becomes the personal chef of wealthy tech entrepreneur Josh Xander Kaminski (Sadowski). After they develop feelings for one another, the plot thickens. The fifth season kicks off with Gabi and Josh trying to prove to everyone that they won’t let feelings get in the way of their new arrangement as “friends with benefits.” **Update below.

Love this show I really hope they continue to season 6 , there are very few shows I look forward to watching and this is probably number 1 , its a fun show with a very funny cast that you can’t help but love,…PLEASE DONT CANCEL !!!!!
This has to be renewed I loved it so much I spent the last 2 weeks seeing it and finished all 5 seasons! I would love a season 6,7,8,9,10 and more to come for example pretty little liars had 7 season and I’m in love with Young and Hungry more than I ever loved Pretty Little Liars. PLEASE RENEW IT, IT WOULD MAKE ME SO HAPPY!!!!
Seriously hope there’s a season 6 where they finally can end up together whichout anything getting in the way! The whole show goes back and fourth and I would love to see them finally end up tg for good! The show can’t end with season five ! I really want another season
I binged watched this show for the last 2 weeks. I’m in love with it! When Josh lost his memory of Gaby, I freaked out! They were finally going to say ‘I love you’ to each other! I was so mad! And when it ended with him finally getting his memory back, it ended! Please bring it back! I need to know what happens with them!! It’s the perfect love story/plot. And will Sophia get a man that’s perfect for her? What happens to Yolanda and the Asian gay guy? Did they really get married or what? RENEW THE SHOW!

I think it should be renewed! I really love this show! Really want to see what happens next with Gabi and Josh, an also the other characters. Josh told Gabi he remembers her, which it gave a flash back but he don’t remember what she told him before he got knocked out, he only remember her from when they were singing that song together.
