It wasn’t a positive start for The Finder at all. It lost nearly 30% from its Bones lead-in in the demo and could only beat The CW’s Secret Circle in the timeslot. When compared with other FOX scripted shows, The Finder’s season average only beats Fringe on Friday nights. Even the already cancelled Allen Gregory performed better.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the Finder TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?

I hate that they cancelled the finder. Wish they would bring it back! I get so tired of FOX cancelling shows I love. Or not finishing them at all. What is up with the last couple of seasons of Hell’s Kitchen? If they keep doing this to my shows I will find a different network to watch.

The Finder was fun to watch and very clever. Fox has so few good shows, this was a gem. My wife and I are sad to see it go.

There is clearly something wrong with FOX. They don’t give a show a chance before they cancel it.The Finder is a good show but afte it was wretched from the sopt with the Bones lead-in it was dropped in a Friday slot & I found I could not ever remember it was on Fridays and could not always find the day it was on. I am guessing I am not alone in this. The last episode deserves explanation with at least 6 more episodes but apparently shows like Fringe rate higher…why I do not know!

Got a kick out of the show and couldn’t wait to watch the next segment. This show brought back some life for us stay-at-home weekenders. With all the negative bull in the news and all the stresses of the economic depression, this show at least gave us a fun hour to get away from it all. Shame on you for not giving this show a chance.
What dope-smoking moron’s do you hire to schedule these shows?! So many times, I find a show I enjoy, and then a few weeks later it isn’t being aired anymore. Don’t ever remember so many shows not given a chance for people to pick up and get attached to. What dope-smoking moron’s do you hire to schedule these shows?! Another thing, you folks are always scheduling shows to compete against already established favorites…that’s so dumb!…the new show doesn’t even have a fighting chance to pick up viewers.

Conspiracy against series May 18, 2012 at 8:44 am

I’m surprised Advertisers and Nielsen ratings system targeting people whom watches live Television . Advertiser should realize this group of people maybe poor and maybe unaware of advance technological. R MAYBE too doped up to operate new technology . These people r picking what is going on -Networks air! Live watchers are dumbing up the our networks. They cant even follow simple series cuz series shows r too complexes for reality addicted people. If these live people r to dumb or to doped up follow series shows _then they can’t even get what the commercials r about r what they r selling. The show live rating only count for Nielsen and they to use to cancel shows .and – 18- 49 What does that mean if your _younger -r- _older you don’t count with advertizes r the networks?. Dumb System dumbing up our air ways. That is what we get from using such a dumb dumb dinosaur rating system.

Love the show! I can not believe that you won’t give it one more go! This was something that my entire family enjoyed together. That is hard to find when you have an age bracket like this : 3,11,32,34 & 59!

Whilst annoyingly set in Miami, this series is quite entertaining. I wish some other network would pick it up, pretend the freaky ending didn’t really happen (once they knew it was cancelled, did they really have to kill it off with a nobody-wins ending?) and get on with it.

It’s a real shame that original TV like this is canned. It was the sort of show that had been missing since Monk departed.

I love this show. Funny, quirky, touching. I like the mix of characters. Why start a great new show then dump it on Friday nights?

The Finder was a really good show. It at least desreves a second season. It WAS moved around, maybe that has something to do with the ratings! Bad move!!!!
