Natalie Martinez may soon return to the small screen. According to Deadline, Martinez has landed a starring role on a new FOX pilot called APB. This is not the first time Martinez has played a member of law enforcement on the small screen. She starred on Under the Dome as the cop of Chester’s Mill, and she was seen last year on ABC series, Secrets and Lies.
Deadline revealed that she will play the role of “Detective Amelia Murphy, a wry, confident cop from a family of police, who never hesitates to question authority, which may be the reason she has alienated every CO she’s worked for and wound up stuck in the dysfunctional 13th Precinct.”
The series is based on article published in the New York Times last summer. The premise of the series has a tech billionaire purchasing a troubled police precinct following the murder of a loved one.
