ABC gave Black Box a straight-to-series order and ordered 13 episodes without seeing a pilot first. They held it until late in the season (typically not a good sign) on Thursdays at 10pm as a replacement for their hit show, Scandal. Will Black Box live up to expectations? Black Box revolves around a beautiful and brilliant neuroscientist (Kelly Reilly) who’s hiding the fact that she’s bipolar. The rest of the cast includes Ditch Davey, David Ajala, Terry Kinney, Ali Wong, David Chisum, Laura Fraser, Siobhan Williams, and Vanessa Redgrave.

Please give us another season of Black Box. It seems like everything that is on TV is geared towards fantasy superhero stuff, or period stuff. I want some good drama TV. Also, getting a little bit of an understanding about what can happen to the brain is very interesting. Especially since there is a lot more mental illness arising in this day and age.

Please please please bring Black Box back!!!!! The show was super interesting and entertaining. It was extremely informative and enlightened the world and the many psychological, neurological, and mental issues that affect and significantly impact our society (young and old today) that derived from the brain, an area that we still know very little about. We NEED more!!!! People need to understand! !! Bring it back!!!!!
Perhaps somebody will initiate a kiskstarter fund raiser to get a feature length finale made to properly finish it off?

I agree with many of the above comments. I may have written my thoughts last fall when I heard they were not going to renew the show. So, if my name is on there twice it is only because that I feel so strongly that not only was this show entertaining-it was extremely informational.

Loved the show
Of course, I’d love for a season 2- or a replay of season 1 at a less competitive time to test the “new ratings”, but at least release DVDs of Black Box – Season 1 as you do for so many other shows- whether they continue or not. That way, those just focused on the dollar can get their’s, and fans of the show at least get to enjoy the one season. Sounds like a win-win to me…

Very disappointed Blackbox was cancelled. Very informative, dealing with psychological disorders and how they can disrupt out lives as well as enhance them. Really great acting.
