Blood shot eyes, broken hearts, still can’t lose. TV Line reports Netflix has renewed the Bloodline TV show for a third season. Back in June, we reported that whether Bloodline was cancelled or renewed for season three, would probably be a financial matter.
Season three will consist of 10-episode to premiere in 2017. Returning series regulars include: Kyle Chandler, Sissy Spacek, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini, and Norbert Leo Butz.

“[EPs Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler] have created a riveting family saga featuring one of the most talented ensembles in the history of television. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for the all-too-human Rayburns,” said Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content at Netflix, in a statement.
Back in May, prior to the launch of the drama’s second season, Chandler joked to TVLine that the Rayburns had enough secrets to keep the series going “until I’m 92.”
He is not wrong.

Bloodline’s mix of mystery and drama, brought to life by fabulous acting, has been missing from movies and television for years. The characters are intriguing and make you want for more – so talented, you feel their emotion. Very tired of reality shows, sex comedy, blood & guts, and so on. In my opinion, there is too much of that, and not enough acting that makes you feel! Bloodline deserves to run for many more seasons — I (and many friends) would be extremely disappointed if Netflix thought otherwise!

I really like it. I’m glad to hear there will be a season 3.
I love this show!! I can usually predict where a story line is going, but this show is a constant surprise. I am drawn deeper into this series with every unexpected twist in the plot. I am enthralled with Bloodline and the actors brilliant performance in every episode. It would be a shame if Bloodline were cancelled just when the show is at the edge of such a compelling plot.

This is great news. Hope they will still shoot in Florida. Either way, Season 3 is coming next year.
