What’s This TV Show About?
Code Black takes place in an Emergency Room in Los Angeles — the busiest, most notorious ER in the nation. The staggering influx of patients often outweighs the limited resources available to the devoted doctors and nurses who work there, creating a condition known as Code Black. In season two, the cast includes Marcia Gay Harden, Rob Lowe, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Harry Ford, Luis Guzman, Melanie Chandra, William Allen Young, Boris Kodjoe, and Jillian Murray.
Season Two Ratings
Airing on the CBS television network, season two of Code Black is averaged a 0.97 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 5.98 million viewers. Telly’s Take
After a lackluster first season, some significant changes were made to Code Back for season two. Unfortunately, the changes didn’t seem to help and the ratings have gotten even worse. I suspect that Code Back will be cancelled by May. The television vulture is preparing to call a time of death on this medical drama.

Love this show! It’s the most spot on realistic show out there! You’d be making a big mistake by canceling it. CBS will loose me as a viewer if you keep canceling these good shows and keeping these toxic reality shows.

Please bring back code black. It’s my favorite series on tv. It’s hard time keep up with days and times when it is on because it’s different every time but please bring it back.

I love this show! It got everything, drama, humor & great characters. If it’s cancelled, i will be very upset. If all that will be on TV are the, “so called,” reality shows, TV is in a sorry state.

Code black is one of my favorite shows. I’m really hoping that they don’t cancel this show. I am so tired of investing my time in these tv shows to have them cancelled after getting into the characters and plots of the shows. Studios are getting too quick on cancelling series. Sometimes it takes a few episodes to grasp your interest. I.e. Doubt cancelled after 2 episodes. I didn’t really like it after 1st episode but 2 bd one I got more interested and had scheduled series on my recorder oh well I’m glad I hadn’t gotten hooked on that… Read more »

This my favorite show on television and has been for 2 seasons! I can’t imagine why it would be down unless people are just overlooking it. Please don’t cancel it. There are so many awful shows out there and this one is one of the best, how could you possibly be thinking about cancelling!

I absolutely LOVE this show. Please, please, we need this to be renewed. The cast is fantastic and the show just works. I would, more than likely, just turn to Netflix if cancelled.
Code Black would have to be my favourite show. The Cast are sooooo good and the story lines are soooo different. I was hooked after the first episode. “Mumma” and “Daddy” are the BEST. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not cancel.
I have been checking to see on my dvr for the next episode…. Nothing!! So i come on here and find this!!! With tears rolling down my face i am so upset!!! This is my favorite show and look forward to watching it. I find it hard to believe my feelings were not the same as other viewer’s. I was surprised the ratings are so low!!!
