The legends will return. Today, The CW announced they’ve renewed freshman series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow for a second season.
The network has also renewed 10 other series, including iZombie and The 100.
A veritable who’s who of DC Comics characters, Legends of Tomorrow follows a group of superheroes, assembled by time-traveler Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), as they try and stop the immortal villain Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) from destroying humanity. Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Victor Garber, Franz Drameh, Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Ciara Renée, and Falk Hentschel also star.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow premiered in January and has been performing decently in the ratings, with an average of around 2.5 million viewers per episode so far.
The other CW series renewals for the 2016-2017 season include the following: Jane the Virgin, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Supernatural, The Originals, The Vampire Diaries, Reign, Arrow and The Flash.
The season one finale of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs on May 19th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Love the show it is a very good super heroe show and I’m very pleased it has been renewed for another season . As I was watching it knowing it was only supposed to be on one season I was like man this will suck when it is over. My favorite was Leonard smart and Rory them two together was why I watched after being a major prison break fan. Save Snart.
Yeah you all right but think too much into related to The Flash and Arrow series of shows think it should be cancelled don’t know about it anything with it but they is comics book same with iZombie show sucks in my opinion is like.
I love this show, so glad it’s being renewed! If I can just make one suggestion… Please go back in time and save Leonard Snart! I love Wentworth Miller, he is the main reason I started watching the show!
Can’t stand that stupid evil villain voice he talks in. Probably too expensive to keep as well.
Forget going back to save him. Go back and as a reward give him and his fire wielding buddy a time ship of their own and the ability to make some good replicas. Let them go through time in their own spinoff stealing the biggest treasures in history and replacing them with dupes in order to protect them(or at least that’s what they were told to do lol). That’s what I want to see
