It looks like the magic is over for the three ladies of Eastwick. ABC network has decided against ordering any additional episodes of the supernatural series, effectively cancelling it.
Eastwick revolves around three women (Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, and Jaime Ray Newman) who meet at a wishing fountain and become friends. Soonafter, mysterious Darryl Van Horne (Paul Gross) moves to town and unleashes powers within the ladies. The cast also includes Ashley Benson, Johann Urb, Jon Bernthal, Sara Rue, and Veronica Cartwright.
The show got off to a slow start on September 23rd with a 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demo and 8.5 million total viewers. The second installment fell to a 2.3 in the demo and 6.57 million viewers. The third week fell again to a 1.8 and 5.14 million.

In the weeks that followed, the ratings didn’t get any better and more frequently got worse. Last week, Eastwick hit an all-time low of 1.5 in the demo and 4.4 million.
ABC has opted to pull the show from the schedule for two weeks. This Wednesday, it’s replaced by the Country Music Awards. Next week, it’s being bumped for an interview special called In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Janet Jackson. Though Eastwick is scheduled to return on Thanksgiving eve with a new episode, the supernatural drama won’t be around for long after that.
ABC has decided not to order any additional episodes of Eastwick, effectively cancelling the series after 13 episodes. It’s unknown if the last episode will wrap up the ongoing storylines. For now, ABC plans to air all six remaining installments but, if the ratings keep declining, the network could easily pull the series before that happens.

I was totally upset, that Eastwick was dropped. First, I thought that it was changed to another time slot but what a surprise when I found out it was not coming back. I really enjoy the show in every aspect; I would not change aspect or direction of the show. Who ever has the power; please bring them back.
Eastwick was a great show. abc is serially confused. I never missed an episode; I loved every minute of the show.
I loved Eastwick and am very disappointed that it’s been cancelled. It was not given the chance it deserved.
If we want to do something to bring it back, we need to take a stand and write to these people ourselves, many many times. Other networks will listen
That is a shame, I had no idea it was cancelled. TV shows don’t get a chance anymore. It was nice to have something different on TV that was not a police show, reality, or just another remake of an 80’s show. This should be given another chance.

I have been waiting and wondering when Eastwick will be back on. At first I thought it was not on due to other specials. Now I find out that that it has been cancelled. I am upset, It was a show I couldn’t wait to watch it each week with my daughter. It was, for the most part, kid friendly, but adult entertainment…. with life problems. I wish another network would pick it up. The actors were great, the story lines were awesome !!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SHOW!!! Why is it that everytime ABC finally puts on a show that is different then the norm, but has a true following, they cancel it? Just and FYI to the “suits” at ABC… Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Charmed, were on for 7-8 years, and they didn’t have a very large fan base at first, but they got more then just one season to prove themselves. You have probably lost alot of viewers because of your silly decisions.
I really enjoyed the show, It was in the same vein as Charmed. The acting was great, which is a rare thing these days,I just hope they have the sense to bring it back,

This is BS!!!! I liked the show 🙁 I don’t know when it’s even on anymore. If it isn’t gonna be on at least give us the courtesy to finish out this seasons story line& let the viewers know when it is on. ABC did the same thing to one of my shows last year.
I really enjoyed this sow and was disappointed to discover that it had been cancelled. Just wondering. Did they fail to air an episode? There seemed to be a missing episode between the second-to-last and the finale.
This is the 2nd show that ABC pulled before I could see the last of the story line. If Eastwick goes I will stop watching new shows on ABC because I might be dissapointed again.
I never missed an episode of Eastwick and hope the ‘suits’ change their mind, and decide NOT to cancel this innovative show. Come on, guys!
