MTV has given the go-ahead for a new thriller series called Eye Candy. The cable channel has ordered 10 episodes for season one.
Eye Candy follows a female tech genius named Lindy (Victoria Justice) who, at the suggestion of her roommate, starts dating online. When her hacker friends uncover a potential serial killer in Manhattan, all signs point to one of her dates. Lindy works with them to solve the murders — while unleashing her own brand of justice.
The pilot co-stars Harvey Guillen, Nico Tortorella, Olesya Rulin, Justin Martin, and Lilan Bowden. However, the pilot will be reshot and recast with only Justice and Guillen remaining in their roles.
Based on the book by R.L. Stine, the Eye Candy pilot was written by Emmy Grinwis and directed by Catherine Hardwicke. There’s no word on when the new series will premiere.

I agree. MTV can’t leave fans with that kind of cliffhanger. With all the questions that need answered. There’s Lindy’s future with Tommy. Why Sara saved her by faking her kidnapping? And so many others like what will Sophie and Connor do next?
yes it does sound interesting even though I’m in the old category as a 50 year old. Advertise, advertise, advertise when it will pilot. Daniel Lissing posted something on his facebook page about it otherwise I might not have known about the upcoming show. thx.
Why are “only Justice and Guillen remaining in their roles”?
Yes
Sounds like something we would like. Would give it a look at and then comment. When will it pilot? We will check it out. Let us know what channel and time and date, of course! Thank you!
Sorry — I know that it is MTV channel.
