Will Famous in Love return for a second season? During a recent panel at the ATX Television Festival, co-creator I. Marlene King spoke about the future of the Freeform TV show, Deadline reports.
Based on the novel by Rebecca Serle, the drama centers on Paige Townsen (Bella Thorne), a college student who rises to fame after landing a big role in Hollywood. The cast also includes Carter Jenkins, Charlie Depew, Georgie Flores, Niki Koss, Pepi Sonuga, Keith Powers, and Perrey Reeves.
During a panel for Pretty Little Liars, King said she’s excited that people are watching Famous in Love:
I’m finding that more and more people who have binged… are starting to watch it live with us because we were doing a lot of social media. Although we were nervous about it, it’s exciting because a lot of people have already seen the show.”
But will there be a second season? Freeform has not announced a renewal yet and so far ratings aren’t great for the freshman series. Currently, Famous in Love is averaging a .14 rating in the 18-49 demo and 339,00 viewers, making it one of the network’s lowest-rated TV shows for the 2016-2017 season.
However, despite low ratings, Freeform executive Jennifer Gerstenblatt says the network loves the show is trying to make a second season work.

I like the show Famous In Love and I think there should be a second season. It is a pretty good show.
They cant base this show on regular ratings because everyone binged. All the episodes were released at once.
I totally agree. The Tv show was so addictive that you just had to know immediatly what would happen next. Same goes for the cliffhanger at the shows’ season finale. I need to know who she will pick haha!!

Nobody wants to watch it. the rate is the worst i have ever seen for a tv series in decades , The main actress is not pretty with her long nose.
I absolutely loved it and I am looking to a second if not i will be hurt because I need to know did she pick personally I chose both,but that is just me.
I love this show so I hope it comes back next year…
