Funny You Should Ask isn’t leaving anytime soon. Deadline reports the syndicated TV show has been renewed for two more seasons.
Hosted by Jon Kelley, the game show “features a panel of professional stand-up comics who interact with contestants for cash and prizes. The stakes increase in every episode as the game progresses.”
From Entertainment Studios’ Byron Allen:
“Funny You Should Ask is growing rapidly in all key metrics. This comedy game show is perfectly positioned for long-term success.”
What do you think? Have you seen Funny You Should Ask? Are you glad it’s been renewed?
Can’t stand the screaming……
I think it is a great comedy but, serious show that should continue as long as possible. I love it!
Show is funny, BUT CANNOT TOLERATE THE PHONY, CANNED, BACKGROUND , MONOTONOUS LAUGHING AND SCREAMING, will turn out, plus the $$$ not worth it! Do looove all the comedians!
Wondering when the new season is going to start!
I don’t know. But maybe if they increase the top prize in the bonus round to a growing jackpot starting at $10,000 and going up $2,500 each episode until either won or makes it to $25,000 and freezing there, and changing the theme song from their stupid choice of one now to the theme from the 1983 game show “Hit Man”. They would get much better and I would jump on board.
Great show!! Waiting for the season premiere!!
I love this show and laugh out loud at times. Especially love Louie Anderson, John Lovitz and Tim Meadows. Watch it at 12:30 pm Mon- Fri.
I love this show! I have been a Lovitz fan since the 80’s (Meadows, as well) and have seen them live twice. Any new comedy with 6 fresh comedians is better than the older stuff that we’ve seen before. I look forward to watching it each day – yes, I think I’ve seen most every episode, but Season 2 has to start soon. I’ll be ready.
Show is painfully awkward. What makes comedy funny is the delivery. Jokes aren’t funny when you know they’re coming.
Stone cold faces from John Lovitz and Louis Anderson looks like he’s in pain just sitting in his chair.
Even Jon Kelly’s introduction of the show and rules has the exact same words and mannerisms each and every episode.
Guess it’s funny for those still up at midnight.
Sorry, not a fan.
When will there be New shows?
Very nice show…it’s refreshing..
The Host Jon and the cast makes this show enjoyable..
You laugh continuously thru out the show!!!!
It’s a keeper…
Thank you.
THIS IS THE MOST MODERN OUTSTANDING, ENTERTAINING, HILARIOUS, TV SHOW MAYBE “EVER”, IT’S ONLY 30 MINUTES, BOO HOO, AND SIX OF THE MOST OUTSTANDING COMEDIANS OF THE PAST, AB-LIVING OFF EACH OTHER’S STATEMENTS, ANSWERS THAT IS.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, I’M RETIRED, AND AT 12:30 PM, IS MY REASON FOR WAKING TO LAUGH EVERY SINGLE TIME ONE SAYS SOMETHING. OUTSTANDING, AND SHOULD BE AWARDED AND ANNOUNCED, SO THAT US OLD TIMERS HAVE SOMETHING TO SEE THAT IS FUN AND CLEAN. INTELLIGENT. !! DECISION, BYRON.
There was an episode that asked a question. It said that in a certain year Sears Roebuck ended there relationship with what company. And the girl said Kenmore. And the contestant disagreed. And the host said she was right. It was Whirlpool and not Kenmore. You are right…. Anyway, Kenmore is made by Whirlpool. So she was actually wrong. The answer was true. Because Kenmore is made by whirlpool.
one of the best show
lasted longer than the original, which lasted 8 months from 1968-1969.
