As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

And I just got caught up with the final 9 episodes!! I hadn’t been able to watch much t.v. at all this summer due to an illness and passing of my sister, who also loved this show! Now to know I spent the past 24 hours watching 9 episodes of a show that isn’t being renewed??!! I’m super pissed too along with everyone else! I thought this was a great show and the end left wide possibilities for an even more exciting 2nd season. I was looking forward to season 2. It’s really upsetting and irritating that FOX didn’t give it a chance. Maybe another network that can see it’s potential will pick it up!
Fox is the dumbest network ever. This was one of the few shows out of the week I would actually make time to watch. This had the potential to be as good as Sons of Anarchy. These dipshits that run the network must make their decisions based on rock, paper, scissors.
I’m so upset to learn that there will be no season 2!!!! So mad right now since I was looking forward to it!!! Many unanswered questions!
one of the best shows in the last couple years….hate the amricans for not watching it…dont mean it offensive,but u watch so many crap shows with 100000 season (like honey boo boo,wtf?),but series like Gang Related or Flash Forward i.e. get cancelled after 1 season,how sad is that?
I totally agree with you! Ratings weren’t good enough because people rather give the ratings to trash such as Here Comes Honey BooBoo! I’m hoping another network takes them!

WTF???? Fox has other really stupid shows like Hell’s Kitchen, Modern Family , the Bang theory etc etc…. and they decide to cancel Gang Related. Not only was it entertaining, It might demonstrate in a similar way of life between good and bad.

Best show hands down. Fox is a bunch of idiots don’t kno what they doing. I’m hoping amc picks this show up they will kno what to do with it.
