As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

I really loved that show me n my whole family enjoyed the show I’m very sad that fox canceled it :-\…”U SUCK FOX”!!!… I hope that another network picks it wh up and mywhole family will definately watch it! Please someone pick it up :-D…die hard Gang Related fan 😉
What a mistake Fox has made! I am hoping someone will pick this fantastic show. Real deal , not another reality show.. Please bring back. Not enough publicity on this… Jenny
Gang Related was an Awesome show hate that we won’t be getting to see season 2.
What! I can’t believe this… Gang related was the only show I watched. So long Fox I won’t be back. Hopefully a new channel will pick it up and put it on the right time slot and MOVE it to the fall lineup, that’s where the viewers are…

Gang related is a great show and well written with good actors, one of my favorites, reminded me of the the wire from hbo. I don’t think fox is the right network for it. CBS Abc or nbc should pick it up or even USA. Fox is known for reality tv, no one really watches fox anymore. I do love Gordon, but can’t stand how ghetto Hell’s Kitchen has become. THANK GOD! What a AWFULLY WRITTEN SHOW. Everything just happen to be so convenient for a story line to continue. Example, a female walks into a cops home and sitting on the couch and looking into the fireplace and finding out he is working for the mob.
