Hannibal ended after three seasons, but fans might see the series again. There has been talk of continuing the series in some way since its cancellation, and Bryan Fuller offered another tease of the possibility in a recent podcast from Blumhouse.
According to Entertainment Weekly, he said the following about the potential return of the cancelled NBC series:
“We still hope that something can be worked out where we continue telling Hannibal Lecter stories and see The Silence of the Lambs in a way that the book hasn’t been represented. I think the film adaptation is a perfect film, but there’s a lot of interesting nooks and crannies in that book to explore in a television series.”
He also revealed his ideal format:
“I think, ideally for the cast, it would be as a mini-series, here and there. Let’s do six to eight episodes of that, and six to eight episodes over here. And do it as an irregular thing.”

Hannibal is my most favorite tv series of all time. I would absolutely love to see more of it in any type of way that they decide to show us. Please, bring it on. And don’t wait for ever to do it. I’m not getting any younger, ha ha !!
