A star from Forever is headed back to television, but it will air in Australia. Ioan Gruffudd will star in Harrow – a 10-episode crime drama being put out by ABC Studios International.
Deadline revealed the following about the new ABC drama:
“The 10-episode Harrow tells the story of Dr. Daniel Harrow (Gruffudd), who is no ordinary forensic pathologist. Brilliant. Unorthodox. And a murderer? Harrow’s total disregard for authority and his unfailing empathy for the dead help him solve even the most bizarre of cases. He is driven to give victims a voice and will bend every rule to get to the truth of what happened to them. But when a terrible secret from his past threatens his family, his career and himself, Harrow needs all his wit, wile and forensic genius not to solve a crime but to keep it buried.”

The whole family grieved when Forever was cancelled. We still watch Ioan Gruffudd in the recorded episodes of Forever. We look forward to seeing him again.
I think he’ll be great playing that role with an Australian accent.
He actually does a pretty fair Aussie accent – I’m impressed!

This was such wonderful news !! Ioan Gruffudd is such an incredible actor. I have missed his presence on TV. He is so deserving of all good things to come to him. Besides his acting/singing talents, he is a wonderful husband and father to his wife, Alice Evans Gruffudd, and daughters, Ella and Elsie. We fans just adore them as a loving, caring family unit. Wishing him all the best with “Harrow”, which will be a global distribution so we should get to see it here in the US.

Ioan is an excellent actor and he will give to the series and to the role all his skills. Just for the choice, the series is already a huge success. Congratulations to Joan and to ABC Studios International. Really hopping we can watch the series here in Portugal!!!

This should be an excellent series and I have truly missed Ioan Gruffudd’s presence on television. He does not disappoint in any role he takes ownership of. The US will be patiently waiting to view Harrow!

I hope this comes to US screens. I have waited for Ioan to get a new series ever since Forever was cancelled. I loved him in Hornblower too. Can’t wait to see him back on TV.
