SYFY RENEWS HAUNTED HIGHWAY FEATURING JACK OSBOURNE, JAEL DE PARDO, DANA WORKMAN AND DEVIN MARBLE FOR A SECOND SEASON
NEW SIX EPISODE SEASON OF THE PARANORMAL REALITY SERIES TO PREMIERE WEDNESDAY, JULY 24 AT 10PM ET/PT
NEW YORK – April 22, 2013 – Syfy has ordered a second season of its hit paranormal reality series, Haunted Highway. The new six episode season will premiere, on a new night, Wednesday, July 24 at 10PM (ET/PT). The hour-long series follows two teams, Jack Osbourne & Dana Workman, and Jael de Pardo & Devin Marble, as they conduct their own first-person investigations into some of the most frightening claims of paranormal activity in some of America’s most remote regions.
Fueled by eyewitness interviews and evidence collected with state-of-the-art equipment, the two teams will self-document their harrowing face-to-face encounters with the paranormal. The new season features examinations and investigations that will take the teams off the beaten path in places like the Arizona desert, the Sierra Nevada mountains and bayous of New Orleans as they seek werewolf-like creatures, the Black Angel of Death, the ghosts of the famous Donner party and other paranormal phenomena.
This season, in a first for the series, all four cast members will join together for a special investigation of Fort Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas. One of America’s largest and most remote coastal bases, Fort Jefferson is located in the Gulf of Mexico, 68 miles from Key West. Built in 1846 to protect one of the most strategic deep water anchorages in the United States, Fort Jefferson quickly became a horrifying prison fortress. The most famous prisoner of Fort Jefferson was Dr. Samuel Mudd, the physician who set the broken leg of John Wilkes Booth and was allegedly an accomplice in the assassination of President Lincoln. Many report that Dr. Mudd’s angry spirit has never forgiven those who wrongly imprisoned and tortured him. Though the island on which Fort Jefferson sits looks beautiful and tranquil, it is still known as “Death Island” for the number of fatalities among both soldiers and prisoners.
In its first season, Haunted Highway averaged 1.12 million total viewers, 538,000 Adults 18-49 and 618,000 Adults 25-54 – ranking #10 in Adults 25-54 during its Tuesday, 10-11PM (ET/PT) time period.
Haunted Highway is produced by BASE Productions. John Brenkus and Mickey Stern serve as executive producers.

What do you think? Have you seen this Syfy series? Will you be watching season two?
Syfy, please bring back haunted highway!!! It is one of the best shows out there!!! Also ghost mine was very original and interesting!! Please bring these back on!!
For the life of me I can not figure out why the syfy channel has cancelled all the best shows, like haunted highway, fact or faked, destination truth, ghost mine ,and stranded.. Etc..etc…ect.. I loved all those shows!! I was always watching syfy, but since they’ve gotten rid of all my favorite shows, I never watch that channel anymore. And it was a bad call replacing those shows with reruns of old B movies! I now watch destination America , goodbye syfy!
Shame on everybody there that don’t know bathing about Sufi shows. You canceled all the shows that everyone watches hunted highway, hunted collector this &ghost mineplus my favorate fact or fake. You people need to cancle some of your ex. No dummys have a nice day
SyFy…I’ve totally lost all sense of faith and confidence in you!! Seriously!!
Who is picking the nightly line-up?? The new shows that SUCK are replacing the great shows you’ve ditched. Haunted Highway, The Haunted Collector, GHI, and Ghost Mine were the some of best shows on television….Besides Ghost Hunters of course. But….that only leaves me one show to watch on SyFy. I hope your station can survive on one show keeping it alive. Because, Ghost Hunters is the ONLY one I will be watching!! I was a totally loyal viewer, whom is now a disappointed former fan. Saaaddd!!
Leslie I too wish Haunted Highway, Haunted Collector, GHI, and Ghost Mine. I loved watching all of them. Also it’s bad enough that they cut Ghost Hunters season short last year. I would love to see all 4 of those shows back on.
keep haunted highway on the air. and bring back some other paranormal shows like ghost mine and ghost hunters international
This is the same thing that’s happening on some of my other favorite channels. They get you hooked, then change the line up with useless crap!! Sharknado??!!! Seriously??
I was a big fan of Ghost Hunters (the only Paranormal Investigative team I ever took seriously), Ghost Hunters International, and Haunted Highway.
I now watch Destination America channel. “A Haunting” is a very good series and it’s actually as good as Sy Fy’s Paranormal Witness, another show Sy Fy doesn’t put on anymore.
KEEP JACK’S SHOW ON! THANK YOU!
I only watch syfy for ghost and goblin reality shows. Not much left to choose from.
My mistake, I saw ALL OF season two. Now what?? I Totally Agree with the others who have commented… What about Ghost Mine and a third season of Haunted Highway? ? You’re LOSING LOYAL FANS OF SCI-FI with teasing FANS of just a taste of Really Great SHOWS, only to shut it down leaving us begging for More! At least there’s Destination America channel, TCL, and LMN to tune into to get my Ghost finding fix!!! Wake UP the Executive’s of SCI-FI and get in touch with your viewers! ITrappers that you have NO CLUE WHAT YOUR VIEWERS TRULY WANT… Read more »
Edit…
It appears that you have NO CLUE WHAT YOUR VIEWERS TRULY WANT TO WATCH! This is how a network LOOSES IT’S RATINGS AND VIEWERS!
I haven’t seen or heard of second season! I m a die hard fan of the show and would Love to see a third and fourth season! It seems to me that networks get u Hooked on a Great Show only to leave you going through withdrawals when the networks don’t keep it going! ! WHEN will you learn that canceling Great SHOWS that people like me get hooked on Only leads to channel surfing to find other networks that have something similar! !!! Shame on you!
I love the show and the cast I hope that they continue to make the show its one of my favorites
Love the show. My husband, son and I really enjoy the genre. Wish it was able to have longer investigations per group. Would love to have more episodes per season too.
All the investigators are lovely to watch as they are totally engrossed in what they do.
Love it!
What is going on with the Scifi channel? They are cancelling all my favorite shows including Haunted Highway, Destination Truth, and Ghost Hunters International! And to top it off they are keeping the ego maniac Zak and crew on Ghost Adventures (it’s a joke of a show). I am totally disgusted with the SciFi channel!!!
yes it seems that syfy is taking all the good shows off like ghost mine ,and others really getting disappointed
Love Haunted Highway. Glad to see it back on syfy, I have been watching it today. Love Jack, glad to see him back and have been a fan of Devin and Jael for awhile. unrelated to this article, but I also admire and adore Jack’s mother, Sharon. Thanks for bringing Haunted Highway back, there should be more.
