It can take a long time to build a house but, these days, the networks don’t give their shows very long to build an audience. The ratings for Home Free were pretty low last year. Will they rise in season two or fall even lower? Will this FOX series be cancelled or renewed for a third season? Stay tuned.
On the Home Free TV show, couples compete in construction challenges. Each team is working to win the ultimate dream home for their hero in a beautiful new neighborhood. However, they don’t know that they’re competing for third own grand prize. Contractor Mike Holmes and football quarterback Tim Tebow are the hosts in season two.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
8/5 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.

For comparisons: The first season of Home Free averaged a 0.90 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.14 million total viewers.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.

Such a letdown from last season. Too much false drama and game playing. No surprise of who gets the homes like last season. As FOX can see the revamp didn’t work Check out the ratings each show. TeBow’s input is a waste of time. I’d rather see the design and building ideas and not so much game show. Sorry to say, I’ve jumped off the bandwagon. Sorry to say, this will be the last season of Home Free if it even makes it through the season.
Though I loved the show, I was surprised that this was renewed in the first place. Anyone who was picked to be on this years show would have investigated online & found out they were going to win a house.
