Well, there’s one dangerous situation that Christopher Chance can’t escape. FOX has cancelled Human Target after two seasons on the air. No season three.
Human Target follows a private bodyguard and security expert (Mark Valley) who protects his clients by integrating himself into their lives and becaomes a “human target.” He’s aided by his business partner, Winston (Chi McBride), and a tech genius named Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley). In the second season, a former client (Indira Varma) becomes his benefactor and an expert thief (Janet Montgomery) joins the team to seek redemption.
The series debuted back in January 2010 to a positive 2.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 10.12 million total viewers. Subsequent episodes had some solid numbers (thanks in large part to American Idol) but the latter part of the season really declined. The season finale brought in a mere 1.9 rating and season one averaged a 2.9 rating and 9.6 million viewers.
The show was on the bubble for renewal last May but FOX ultimately decided to give the series a second chance to get better ratings. That didn’t pan out.

Last November, season two of Human Target debuted to a week 1.8 rating in the demo and 6.59 million viewers. The network kept it on through the holidays, the ratings got worse, and by January it seemed like they’d given up on the series. The final episodes of the season performed a bit better but, again, thanks to being teamed American Idol. Season two averaged a 1.7 demo rating and 6.4 million viewers.
As one of the network’s lowest scripted series of the season, it seemed like just a matter of time before FOX would cancel Human Target. Last night, they officially did. Despite some devout fans, Human Target just wasn’t a winner in the ratings. After 25 episodes, the show is over.

Another good show cancelled! When you keep changing the day and time slot of a show, it is hard to gain a following. I had my DVR set to record the series. With the BIG 4 networks cancelling more good shows without giving them a “chance”, I am increasingly watching alternative networks-USA,TNT,SYFY, etc.
We Love Human Target. Bring it back!!!!
WTH Why are the good shows cancelled???? Some other network PLEASE pick up this show it IS worth the time…take a CHANCE with Chance

Was loking for new season. Can figure out why it got canceled. Great cast, Sounds like regular programing and what people want to relax to is out of sty;e. The dumb reality, crazy game shows are in. Why? trying to capture teen markets. They arn’t the ones paying the cable bills.
We too had gone to the web to see when the new season would begain. Just could not believe it. We loved the show and the actors, we felt like we were watching a mini movie every week. It was action packed and just fun to watch. We couldn’t wait to the next weeks adventure. Which was sometimes delayed for weeks.Which brings me to my next point. I, too was checking on it’s premiere and it’s canceled….disappointed
My son and I loved this show and never missed an episode. You should take the reality shows off the air and put this one back on. People who didn’t want to watch this program didn’t know what they were missing. I just went on-line to find out when it would be returning and found out it was not. My son and I are very, very disappointed.

my wife and I think Human Target is the best show on TV. ya’ll never gave it a chance, you were always pre-empting it and most of the time it was not on the television for weeks. it is impossible to build up a fan base under these circumstances. cancel something else and give Human Target a chance!

What? it is cancelled?.. I just found out about it now?.. I am a danish guy, saw the show here in Denmark. it is awesome.. So it is not cool to hear that the next season, I have been waiting for, isn´t coming.. .. Why the **** did Fox pulled the pluck on Human target just after two seasons, and for what? Just as the show was begining to jell it’s cancelled, and they leave other idiot level programs on, is there no end to network stupidity.
