Deadline reports Kristine Froseth has been cast as Eli, in the Let the Right One In TV show pilot at TNT. From Teen Wolf‘s Jeff Davis, the vampire drama is based on the novel by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist. Davis is writing and will executive produce with Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios and Simon Oakes of Hammer Films. Euros Lyn is directing the pilot.
TNT says Let the Right One In is an eerie drama about a young boy, long tormented by his classmates, who finds solace in a friendship with a charismatic female vampire, Eli, who appears to be near his age. She settles into the boy’s small Vermont town with her mysterious caretaker, just as a series of bizarre murders begins attracting the attention of law enforcement. According to Deadline, the boy’s name is Henry.

I will certainly give it a chance. After all, Teen Wolf and The Vampire Diaries are both ended so I’m interested in a new vampire series.
