What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Lethal Weapon stars Damon Wayans, Clayne Crawford, Keesha Sharp, Kevin Rahm, Jordana Brewster, Johnathan Fernandez, Dante Brown, Chandler Kinney, and Michelle Mitchenor. The comedic buddy cop action drama centers on two very different cops working together on the streets of Los Angeles. While family man Roger Murtaugh (Wayans) has everything to live for, is there nothing Martin Riggs (Crawford) won’t sacrifice to avenge the loss of his own family? In season two, Murtaugh tries to support Riggs, while still keeping his own family in mind and trying to avoid the chaos his partner seems to seek.
Season One Ratings
The second season of Lethal Weapon averaged a 0.99 rating in the 18-49 viewer demographic and 4.11 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 37% in the demo and down by 37% in viewers. Learn how Lethal Weapon stacks up against the other FOX TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will FOX cancel or renew Lethal Weapon for season three? The ratings are way down when compared to the first season’s numbers, likely because the series was moved to a new night and away from the network’s top-rated Empire series. For now, I think it will land a renewal, mostly because FOX has lots of other lower-rated shows. However, there have reportedly been some issues with Crawford so that could scuttle the renewal. Lethal Weapon is one of the best shows!! Our whole family of 5 watch it faithfully and other family and friends watch it too. Riggs is a character that can not be replaced, great actor, love his crazy, devoted, cocky attitude. He is fearless and adorable. Roger is the best partner for Riggs, together they are awesome and funny!! I love their realationsip. There has to be many more seasons!!??? Please work out the differences with Clayne Crawford. We all know the show just wouldn’t be the same without him. . Who else could show so much emotion just with his eyes without even speaking?! Fox, after that phenomenal season finale, you just have to bring this series back..WITH Clayne Craword. Come on now, fellas, let’s get together and fix this for the benefit of all of the fans who really love this show and the entire cast.
The show lives or dies on whoever portrays Riggs, it’s the pivotal role in the whole story. The whole cast is good but C.C. holds it all together. By not just copying Mel Gibson’s portrayal he made the role his own. I watch here in the U.K. (the show has a lot of fans here as well) and I would love to see a season 3 but probably wouldn’t watch if it was re-cast.
Please please please DO NOT cancel this series. It has to go on. I have told sooooo many of my friends and family about this series and everyone LOVES Lethal weapon. We cant wait for the next New episodes. We Love all the actors in this series. Riggs, Roger you guys are really the Best keep it up guys

My wife and I watch religiously! Excellent show! My wife cried on the last episode of 2nd season and wanted to find a way to write to the show! Keep the show, and tell Clayne to do it for his fans!
I really would love to see another season of “Lethal Weapon”. The actors seem to all click together beautifully. I never miss an espisode…….please bring it back for Season 3.
Please really consider the series . Icon buddy movie , and this series let’s us relive the story to a modern daily routine story. Love , suspense , and great actors . Clayne really did energies the role . Think about it .. He had to step into a big role . Kudos. But tell him to chill , with his co workers . Don’t let everyone lose there jobs and , salaries for a big stupid act . Be professional .

I totally agree with what your saying and it’s hard to believe there’s tension behind the scenes because they have excellent on screen chemistry. Please try to work out your differences because it could never be the same show without clayne
This is the best show I have seen on Fox and years it’s one of my favorite shows I even recorded and watch it again the next day to be sure I’m not missing anything so please please we need to season 3

Lethal Weapon should be renewed and Clayne Crawford should NOT be fired. Could not replace him and the various actors all play well off of each other.
Crawford creates this show with his chemistry with his partner. I love this show I watch every episode. Work out the differences and keep this guy it won’t work without him. It’s one of the best police detective shows on television ever.
