What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Lethal Weapon stars Damon Wayans, Clayne Crawford, Keesha Sharp, Kevin Rahm, Jordana Brewster, Johnathan Fernandez, Dante Brown, Chandler Kinney, and Michelle Mitchenor. The comedic buddy cop action drama centers on two very different cops working together on the streets of Los Angeles. While family man Roger Murtaugh (Wayans) has everything to live for, is there nothing Martin Riggs (Crawford) won’t sacrifice to avenge the loss of his own family? In season two, Murtaugh tries to support Riggs, while still keeping his own family in mind and trying to avoid the chaos his partner seems to seek.
Season One Ratings
The second season of Lethal Weapon averaged a 0.99 rating in the 18-49 viewer demographic and 4.11 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 37% in the demo and down by 37% in viewers. Learn how Lethal Weapon stacks up against the other FOX TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will FOX cancel or renew Lethal Weapon for season three? The ratings are way down when compared to the first season’s numbers, likely because the series was moved to a new night and away from the network’s top-rated Empire series. For now, I think it will land a renewal, mostly because FOX has lots of other lower-rated shows. However, there have reportedly been some issues with Crawford so that could scuttle the renewal. Exceptional show; MUCH more superior than the MacGyver reboot that surfaced at the same time. However, MacGyver is getting higher ratings because CBS is keeping it in a time slot that allows it better viewership numbers. Hey, FOX, get this show back to a slot where it can thrive. It has some of the best writing, acting, and chemistry of any show out there.

We love the Lethal Weapon tv series. We really hope they renew the show for season 3 and more.
Have missed seeing Lethal Weapon, the chemistry between Murtagh and Riggs each week. Especially wanted to see how Murtagh drove Riggs crazy when he moved in with him, should be a good switch for a change. Wanted to see how the Murtaghs work out their differences and disappointed not to see what happened. Fox please bring this show back one of the best on TV.
This is my favorite show on tv right now. I loved season 1. I loved watching Riggs grieve for his wife and son. It was heart wrenching to watch because Clayne is such a great actor, you could see the pain on his face and feel his hurt. And Roger was such a great support for him. They have amazing chemistry! This season has been different due to the fact they let him catch the guy responsible for their deaths and then he was killed. I thought it moved on from the tender episodes about his loss way too fast.… Read more »
Oh no this is the only show my husband and I watch together we both love it. Makes my week, funny and family stuff what’s not to like? Please please don’t take it away!
I love the show but as u get into it you guys will say in two we will return then u back and do it again that get old and we start watching something else so u cause us to lose interest. So if u bring it back leave it on.
