Molly Parker is headed to outer space. Deadline reports the actress has joined Netflix’s upcoming Lost in Space reboot.

Based on the classic 1960s sci-fi drama from Irwin Allen, the show follows the adventures of the Robinson family as they travel through hostile territory in outer space.

Parker will play “Maureen Robinson, the role played by June Lockhart in the original series, a fearless and brilliant aerospace engineer who makes the decision to bring her family to space for a chance at a new life on a better world.” She joins fellow castmembers Toby Stephens and Maxwell Jenkins.

Lost in Space is slated to debut in 2018.
