FOX is going to Hell … again. Today, the network announced they’ve renewed Lucifer for a second season, Variety reports.
The drama stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, the fallen angel who has left his post in Hell to run a Los Angeles nightclub. Lauren German, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, D. B. Woodside, and Scarlett Estevez also star.
Lucifer premiered to favorable ratings, earning a 2.43 in the 18-49 demo and 7.156 million viewers with its January debut. And while ratings have dropped off significantly since then, with an average of 1.55 in the 18-49 demo and around 4.820 million viewers, the series is still one of FOX’s stronger performers.

We knew we had something special with ‘Lucifer,’ from the engaging performances of Tom, Lauren and the rest of the charismatic cast, to Len Wiseman’s visually stunning look of the show and the amazing storytelling savvy of the Bruckheimer team.”
Today, FOX also renewed Rosewood for a second season.

Yes I love this show!!!
I love Lucifer. The show makes me smile and laugh. It is clever, intriguing, witty, with brilliant performances from the very well chosen cast. Overall worth watching and more especially worth waiting for. Just hope they can keep it up or even improve on it.

5-2-16 My wife and I live to see each episode of Lucifer. Trixie is so good in her role as is Mace. Tom Ellis makes Lucifer look good. This is an awe-inspiring show. Thank goodness it has been renewed. Any idea when we can see the next episode.
Its Monday night 8:10 pm May 2. Lucifer where are you? Always look forward to monday night I enjoyed the comedy that Lucifer provided. Lucifer is the only show I made certain I was home to watch!
Grace Figueroa… You took the words right out of my mouth!! This show is EXCELLENT!! I’m really not sure why folks are making such a fuss abt “Lucifer” anyway. It’s only a/the name of an awesome television serious full of everything viewers want!! The episodes, characters, drama & Tom Ellis’ “devilish” smile (sorry-I couldn’t resist!), etc. certainly have me excited about Monday night TV for the 1st time in many years!! ROCK ON FOX WITH YOUR BAD SELF!! Keep’em coming!!
