What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, Midnight, Texas stars François Arnaud, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Arielle Kebbel, Jason Lewis, Peter Mensah, Sarah Ramos, and Yul Vázquez. Based on the book series of the same name, from True Blood author Charlaine Harris, the supernatural drama plays out in the remote Texas town of Midnight, where nothing is what it seems. There, only outsiders belong, while normality is just plain weird. It is the best haven for people who need to hide from the world at large. The townies come together to form a sort of chosen family. Together they fend off external pressures from nosy police officers, vicious biker gangs, and their own dark pasts.

Telly’s Take
Midnight, Texas was originally supposed to premiere in the mid-season, but in the end, the Peacock network held it for summer. What’s more — they only ordered ten episodes. While none of that adds up to anything definitive, it could indicate that they have less faith in the series. The ratings have not been very good so I suspect that the show will be cancelled. What do you think? Are you glad that Midnight, Texas has been renewed for a second season? How would you have felt if NBC had cancelled this TV series, instead?
Renew!! Midnight is so unique. The characters are so rich and the characters interactions are powerful. Midnight just needs more advertising and publicity. This could be the new dark shadows !!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do NOT cancel this show!! Finally, a show with a great storyline and even better characters!! PLEASE RENEW this one!!
It’s time to renew Midnight, Texas. It’s a new guilty pleasure and I love it. Give it more time, please!
This is a very cool show, gave me goosebumps. Please please please Do Not Cancel this show!!!!!
Midnight Texas is a VERY good show. I like the character development and the strong bonds the towns people have. I REALLY hope it gets renewed. Hopefully the powers that be will give it a chance even some of the most successful shows take a second season to really catch on. I watch Shades of Blue which was renewed and its ratings weren’t that much more for the “desirable” age demo.
Please let this show get renewed. Seems like so many good fantasy shows like this end up getting canceled right away and this one is awesome. My fiancee and I watched it every week and love the show.
hopefully midnight texas will be renewed

We are looking forward to season 2 and we will be very disappointed if it doesn’t run for a second season and I’m 100% positive other viewers will be disappointed as well!! Please, Please, Please don’t cancel Midnight, Texas! My husband & I love this show. It does an excellent job of keeping you glued to the tv & makes you want to watch the next week just to find out what happens. I love how just when you think you have something or someone on the show figured out, it happens in a way you never quite saw coming. It’s also not like a lot of other shows that are on, it’s very refreshing to have a show that has an awesome story line & plot that makes sense. I will… Read more »
It’s unbelievable! Anytime a great show gets on TV, networks start talking about canceling it. They barely give it a chance to attract viewership. First of all they start showing it in the summer when it is well known that less people are home watching. They only make 10 episodes AND change the schedule the last two weeks This is an amazing show and I will end this rant with the two words that
will absolutely positively win this conversation. FRANCOIS ARNAUD
I love Midnight Texas, everything about it. Please don’t cancel it.
