It’s farewell for one of NCIS‘ most popular characters. Recently, star Pauley Perrette revealed she has filmed her last scene on the CBS TV show, Deadline reports.
Perrette has played forensic specialist Abby Sciuoto since the crime procedural began in 2003. The cast also includes Mark Harmon, Sean Murray, Emily Wickersham, Wilmer Valderrama, Maria Bello, Brian Dietzen, Duane Henry, Rocky Carroll, and David McCallum.
Perrette’s final episode of NCIS will air on CBS on May 8th. See photos form her last day of shooting below:

This is just another reason NCIS needs to hang it up. It will not survive losing Abby. The show is getting boring anyway, and too political.

I read somewhere she was leaving because Mark Harmon would not leave his dog home. It had attacked someone on the set and she was afraid of it.
Thats not it, she posted on her Twitter the reason shes leaving the show, she wanted to focus all her time into the causes she is involved in and the show was taking too much of it away.
I am like a lot of NCIS fans, its not going to be the same without Abby!! Hearing her lovely GIBBS, GIBBS, GIBBS!
Seeing her acting skills with her unique lab outfits, plus shes just LOVEABLE and BEAUTIFUL!

It’s such a shame, it was terrible when DiNozzo left but now with Abby going too I just hope it doesn’t change the show too much because I simply love it.
Definitely will miss her. Especially since she was an actual forensics major in college, so she actually knows her DNA, Mass Spectrometer and chemicals. I’m guessing Ducky’s book-writing assistant could serve as a replacement, as she was portrayed as a great admirer of Abbey’s and is a forensics expert as well. In any case, Abbey’s replacement has some seriously big shoes to fill.
