What do you think? Do you like the Olympus TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?
I hope that it will be renewed.
Renew. It starts off a little sluggishly, not because of the story, but rather the graphic work. But it doesn’t take long to pick up — to the point that I was greatly impressed by it. The story is good, the acting fine (the king turning into a snivelling weakling was a bit much but tolerable). Overall, renew. The women are stunning too. Whoever played Medea is just gorgeous. The Oracle too. That certainly doesn’t hurt.
Just watched All 13 episodes not just the first few.It is well worth watching the whole season before passing judgement as it is truly a unique show.I like the show. It is an interesting story, a fantasy related to Greek-Roman mythology.Renew,Renew and Renew.
I watch the pilot and it was awfull , i hope they cancel
If you do not like, just change the channel, and do not criticize something that you never saw. I love Olympus. Renew !!!
If Olympus gets a second season, must be based more on the mythology and less fiction(if you want to increase viewership).I think this is just the beginning. It will in the future be more mythological series on Syfy TV.Give it a chance(give it a try) – Renew.
I would definitely say Renew.
Who is freed (last episode) ? Zeus or Typhon ? Typhon (Typhoeus) was a terrifying monster that was created by Mother Earth Gaea to do harm to Zeus.Typhon was part man and part beast. Below his thighs he had huge curled snakes, which when fully extended, reached his head and emitted hisses.Typhon was the largest and strongest child of Gaea.Typhon was sought to destroy the world and to put obstacles to Zeus along his way to the Kingdom of Heaven. Everywhere Typhon went,he would spread fear and disaster. The most famous legend involving Typhon in Greek mythology was when the monster… Read more »
For me it’s Typhon. Typhon looks like a male version of Ekhidna(Echidna)-“She-Viper”. Typhoeus(Typhon) was a monstrous immortal storm-god who was defeated and imprisoned by Zeus in the pit of Tartaros.
Renew. Very Beautiful acting. The story was very original and good. You can’t tell a book by its cover.
Renew !!! Idea for Olympus 2: Revenge of the gods The hunting of the Calydonian boar was one of the most famous episodes of Greek heroic legend. Was a gigantic boar(and Unicorns, Mermaids, Nymph, Werewolves, Elves, other supernatural creatures – Add them to be interesting) sent by Artemis/Diana (Diana was the goddess of the hunt, the moon and childbirth, being associated with wild animals and woodland, and having the power to talk to and control animals.) to ravage the countryside of Kalydon to punish King Oineus.Oeneus called together a great host of Greek heroes to rid his country of the boar… Read more »
Only One Word Comes to Mind: RENEW !!!
When will they make a decision?
Renew renew renew, the acting is too good not to renew!
Well I happen to be a bit of a Greek mythology enthusiast. The plot was good and I really enjoyed watching Lykos grow from a weak frail looking boy into a man. From the start he seems to be an unlikely hero. It is thanks to characters like Lykos and Medea that I loved watching Olympus. However the plot is really well connected and the story is everything.Renew
Watching the pilot and the subsequent two episodes, I had my doubts. The CGI, particularly the background ‘sets’ of gigantic statues were preposterous… yet, I had an inkling and a hope. So, I waited.I have just finished watching episode 12 with one to go, and it would appear that my suspicions were correct. This is not the Greek mythology we all know. This is a SyFy, or SciFi, production. Those of you who have read Dan Simmons’ “Olympos” know what I’m talking about – those who don’t, read a synopsis of that book.Yes, it might get canceled, but it’s looking like the… Read more »
I find the story pleasant to follow and there’s a real feeling to the actors who are not overacting. Battle and fights are well done some interesting strategy explain to win and as they seem to care for their life u actually fear for the heroes to die during fights. So overall i say its a good TV show with an artistic value and real feeling to it. If u like mythology, art, war, love story, attaching characters this show is for u. Costumes are really goods.Renew.
Well to begin with I am not a fan of Greek myths or Greek-based TV shows or movies. However I must say that this is still a pretty good Greek myth-based drama. On the downside though I have to comment that the action sequences were pretty poorly designed, because they had hardly six characters partaking. What I do have to congratulate the cast, and the actors and actresses on though is that the performance was first- rate and quality. There is no denying that the performance was not delivered with a solid masked face, but there were real emotions being… Read more »
