TV show description:
This dramatic science-fiction TV series explores the question “What would you do without it all?” A family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, planes, cars, phones, lights — has mysteriously stopped working. Electrical power has simply gone away. The show also revolves around the idea of family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.
Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) is the headstrong, curious and daring daughter of Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee). Ben is hiding a mysterious secret about the blackout. Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips), a medical doctor, became involved with him following his wife’s death.
When Charlie’s younger and thoughtful brother, Danny (Graham Rogers), is kidnapped by militia leaders, she must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), a former US Marine and warrior who’s living as a recluse.
Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed and how or if it will ever return.
The rebel group includes fighter Nora (Daniella Alonso); General “Bass” Monroe (David Lyons), a former Marine who served alongside Miles; and Aaron (Zak Orth), a former Google executive and a computer genius who’s ill-prepared for the rigors of the technology-less world.
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito), a cultured former insurance adjuster turned Monroe Republic leader and Nate Walker (JD Pardo) is a member of the militia who has conflicted feelings for Charlie.
Episode #42 — Declaration of Independence
Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.
First aired: May 21, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
We tend to believe that cancellations are cast in concrete, but the networks have responded at times to the outcry of the loyal viewers. In this age of petitions and letters surely one of us who want to see Revolution get a another season is familiar with starting a petition. Perhaps there is one available now. If so, let us know the link so we can lend our voice and signature to the petition. If there is no petition, yet, will someone familiar with the process get one going and let us see if we can “move the mountain?.”
Here is a website to sign a petition to save ‘Revolution’
Petition | Renew Revolution TV Show | Change.org

This petition will be delivered to: NBC. Renew Revolution TV … and making me want more. REVOLUTION is the best show on TV. Please don’t cancel. REPORT THIS COMMENT …
Here it is. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/553/454/200/revolution-season-3/#next_action Over 20,300 signatures and growing. I’m not sure if the TV Finale comments are seen by any of the network people. We have been encouraging people to go to Tweeter (we actually lite up tweeter during the series finale and trended thru the 3 hour showing across the nation’s time zones with #revolutionfinale) and want people to post on NBC facebook page and their website. Yesterday someone on tv finale posted a email address to write to at NBC. He has to do with the decision to cancel so look back thru the comment on here.… Read more »

Thank you, Sierraecho 2000: I signed and shared on my FB wall.
Once again, along with Heroes, Invasion, and V, stupid network imbeciles have cancelled a great series..Revolution was different, my favorite show along with Grimm…we don’t need anymore cop shows ( bad guy commits crime, cops catch him JUST in time for end of show..how exciting!!) ,or those not really reality shows, or stupid dancing/ karoeke shows…I like Under The Dome, Falling Skies, Merlin ( my fav till it went off..)..stuff with some imagination & excitement….you guys have the imagination of a doorknob…
I really liked ‘Revolution’ and wish NBC would reconsider its decision to cancel it. I am so sick of the so-called “Reality” shows that are just unrealistic….like ‘Real Housewives’……..Please, does anyone believe that show? Anyone knows these are not reality. They are just a way for the networks to do an inexpensive show without paying a salary to actual actors. Maybe if we all quit watching that drivel they will go back to the hard work of actually writing a script and hiring actors to perform it. I have to confess I do watch the cooking shows like “Top Chef”… Read more »
Please keep Revolution on the air, I love this show. I was COMPLETELY disappointed in the series finale, the only thing that could make it better, is if you come out with a new show called The Wasteland, with all the same people!!! Revolution is a GREAT show!
please renew Revolution. So damn sick of reality shows. Put something on good, and
they take it away. BRING IT BACK!!!!!!
This series should be brought back, better then the those reality shows. Revolution makes you appreciate electricity and reminds me also what life would be like without cell phones. Kind of peaceful but I love Revolution, BRING IT BACK PLEASE!
This (was) is my favorite show on TV! Please renew for another season. I cannot stand watching tripe like Modern Family — or most any (current) comedy show. As far as the reality shows — the only one I like is AGT.
I am not happy with NBC at all. I agree with many of the comments already posted: I hate reality shows and sit-coms aren’t my thing either. A good drama that has some action and a good story line to follow is what I like. If NBC can’t continue with some of the series they start, I guess I’ll have to go to an HBO station or something. It’s pretty upsetting. I don’t think it was a good idea to put it after the Voice anyway. If it was a good night and a good hour they would have higher… Read more »
Come on AMC
BIG HIT… this was a show that my wife and I watched every week. Just like the one comment said, we hate watching good series just to get wrapped up into it then its cancelled.
The cast were great to watch. Its really to bad you cancelled it
Please do not cancel this show, I finally have a tv show to look forward to.
KEEP REVOLUTION! There are too many stupid reality shows. We need shows that are written good and keep up interested & can’t wait for the next show. Ones that keeps us
thinking about what it that happened to us, how would we handle it?
Please bring back Revolution. AWESOME story line. So sick of reality shows!!!! GREAT actors. If NBC doesn’t want it how about another network.
Revolution is a great show, and the Season finale just set it up for a third awesome season. This show is different. Every season there seems to be another show that actually entertains cancelled only to be replaced by more crappy reality TV. Please renew this show!
Please, please, please renew Revolution. My husband and I love this show.. Right up there with Lost.. I’m a big JJ Abrams fan…
