TV show description:
This dramatic science-fiction TV series explores the question “What would you do without it all?” A family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, planes, cars, phones, lights — has mysteriously stopped working. Electrical power has simply gone away. The show also revolves around the idea of family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.
Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) is the headstrong, curious and daring daughter of Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee). Ben is hiding a mysterious secret about the blackout. Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips), a medical doctor, became involved with him following his wife’s death.
When Charlie’s younger and thoughtful brother, Danny (Graham Rogers), is kidnapped by militia leaders, she must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), a former US Marine and warrior who’s living as a recluse.
Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed and how or if it will ever return.
The rebel group includes fighter Nora (Daniella Alonso); General “Bass” Monroe (David Lyons), a former Marine who served alongside Miles; and Aaron (Zak Orth), a former Google executive and a computer genius who’s ill-prepared for the rigors of the technology-less world.
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito), a cultured former insurance adjuster turned Monroe Republic leader and Nate Walker (JD Pardo) is a member of the militia who has conflicted feelings for Charlie.
Episode #42 — Declaration of Independence
Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.
First aired: May 21, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
I know this has been posted before; but I am posting it again. It is to sign a petition to bring back Revolution. Take a minute and sign it. I also emailed NBC.com to tell them how much I have enjoyed that show.

Maybe if enough people take action it may help. Can’t hurt.
I cannot believe they cancelled this show. It was well acted and had really developed into one of the best shows on TV. NBC wont be getting anymore of my viewership for awhile. I hope another network picks it up, Id watch it !!!!!!!
This has been a show I loyally followed. The Series Finale left it on an extremely weird note and almost hints at more to come, i.e. another season or a two hour wind up perhaps. Anyway, I cannot believe it has been cancelled. Why? Why? WHY!!!!???
I can’t believe they cancelled the show. I watch it every week and many of my junior high students watch it , too. What a shame. Can’t the executives from NBC think? They have cancelled others like “Heroes.” I hope they change their minds.
I loved this show!! I cannot believe it is cancelled!! This year it was more realistic and believable! COME ON!!
I love this show. My husband and I watch it every week. It is interesting and exciting and a great show to watch to get your mind off everything in real life. Please bring it back, we love it.
Please do not cancel the show. My husband and I really enjoy this series!
Good show ,however how many times can you walk around split the group.Someone get captured and the rest of group has to go bail them out.
I really think it is stupid to cancel one of the best shows on TV. I suppose replacement will be some oversexed drama or comedy or another outrageous reality crap. Jericho was another show similar to Revolution great cast good script just like Revolution and it was cancelled. Unless their is justification for the cancellation then they are just nuts for doing so. A better time slot would have helped. There are few and far between good dramas on TV. So much crap bad choices I suppose. You need to bring this show back maybe with a different chapter. The… Read more »
We are trying to get as many likes for the Revolution Facebook page. We want to show NBC and other networks just how popular the show is. So if you are on Facebook please like. Also share and tweet the site.

WOW ! Once again a show that I really enjoy is put down due to ratings or someone with NBC just don`t like . Gee , the show was doing really good until they moved it to another night and time . NBC will never be no more than a reject network ! Revolution had great actors and an interesting story line that kept me waiting for the next episode . NBC would never consider series like THE WALKING DEAD, SONS OF ANARCHY, HELL ON WHEELS , JUSTIFIED and many more series on the networks outside the big 4 .… Read more »
Ive been watching this show since it started and I love it. It is so irritating to really love a show and spend 2 yrs watching and then it gets canceled for some stupid comedy or reality show.
So you cancel Revolution and renew Law and Order SUV a show I use to watch that ran its course a few seasons ago. What idiot do you use to decide on what shows to renew and what shows to cancel. If NBC is so quick to end series and keep the old goat shows I may just use the DVR more and when they cancel it after one season I just wont watch it like I did with Crisis and Believe because you cancel shows so fast. But you renewed that stinker of a show Hannibal. After that I… Read more »
Very-very-very disappointed at hearing of Rev being cancelled. I agree with everyone else . . . Wednesdays are going to be very lonely without the gang.
Please, do not cancel Revolution….
Again another great show being cancelled. I guess reality shows and some comedy shows are what the networks keep as they believe people are brainless. Well I refuse to watch above mentioned shows and will watch more cable stations. Bring revolution back, at least wrap up storyline and not keep us hanging.
