TV show description:
This dramatic science-fiction TV series explores the question “What would you do without it all?” A family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, planes, cars, phones, lights — has mysteriously stopped working. Electrical power has simply gone away. The show also revolves around the idea of family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.
Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) is the headstrong, curious and daring daughter of Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee). Ben is hiding a mysterious secret about the blackout. Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips), a medical doctor, became involved with him following his wife’s death.
When Charlie’s younger and thoughtful brother, Danny (Graham Rogers), is kidnapped by militia leaders, she must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), a former US Marine and warrior who’s living as a recluse.
Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed and how or if it will ever return.
The rebel group includes fighter Nora (Daniella Alonso); General “Bass” Monroe (David Lyons), a former Marine who served alongside Miles; and Aaron (Zak Orth), a former Google executive and a computer genius who’s ill-prepared for the rigors of the technology-less world.
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito), a cultured former insurance adjuster turned Monroe Republic leader and Nate Walker (JD Pardo) is a member of the militia who has conflicted feelings for Charlie.
Episode #42 — Declaration of Independence
Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.
First aired: May 21, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
I think its so wrong cancelling the show i think its great some other network should get it going again
Maybe the viewers did not like the 10 o’clock time frame. I think this is the best series out there. this shows should definitely be renewed at 8 p.m. so people that go to bed early and watch it and aren’t DVR ing it!!!!!!!! if cancelled I refuse to watch the station againVery big mistake if you cancel the show!!!
I live in Maine and it was on at 8:00 PM.

This serious should not end, I think this a lack of respect for the viewer, it also made with Newfoundland, and now Revolution!! I am outraged.
Rene – Brazil
no do not cancel.this is a good show.
I LOVE REVOLUTION!!!!! PLEASE DONT CANCEL.
I’m with you Kim
Just started watching it today on Netflix. If I was them people I would be shooting the head person of the militia not everyone else around him
Revolution was one of the only shows I watched on network tv. I’m sure it’s replacement will be another type of ridiculous reality program. That’s why network tv viewership keeps dropping. I can only hope that another network is smart enought to pick it back up.
I can’t believe they are cancelling Revolution. Many of us watch that show EVERY week. It’s an awesome show. There aren’t many good shows left. They are cancelling all of the good shows. The replacements will not do. I hate reality shows…a lot of us do. TV is getting so bad. I really hope they bring Revolution back. Many of us won’t be watching much TV if the Networks keep doing this.
Please bring back “Revolution”. Please!!!!!!!
I can not understand why the major networks cancel the realy great shows and replace most of them with reality shows. I am a loyal Survivor fan however most of the reality shows have out lived their Time. They need to get back to shows with a story line, not another reality show. I would like to know how and who comes to the decision to end a show with a story line that has not come to a conclusion. They need to finish the story to it”s fulfillment, like they did with lost. I am still sore with how… Read more »
I agree with Charles!!!
I SO agree . . . I’m getting “gun shy” when it comes to watching new shows because I don’t know if I’ll see the conclusion or NOT! Very frustrating to say the least.
BRING BACK REVOLUTION. 🙂
They should never have moved it from original time slot. ABC makes a lot of programing mistakes and with Revolution’s cancelation they do it again! Bring back the show!!!
NBC hard to tell networks apart without a score card!
This was an inventive show and should not be cancelled. Please bring it back! I loved the characters, the building of various relationships, and the difficulties rebuilding a world lost. There was contrasts between people who wanted to build community, and those who want to control communities.
How can this amazing show be cancelled when there is so much crap be aired on TV so gutted only just found out
All the stupid syfy shows on tv and this one, which is really very good, gets cancelled. It doesn’t make any sense!!
