TV show description:
This dramatic science-fiction TV series explores the question “What would you do without it all?” A family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, planes, cars, phones, lights — has mysteriously stopped working. Electrical power has simply gone away. The show also revolves around the idea of family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.
Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) is the headstrong, curious and daring daughter of Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee). Ben is hiding a mysterious secret about the blackout. Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips), a medical doctor, became involved with him following his wife’s death.
When Charlie’s younger and thoughtful brother, Danny (Graham Rogers), is kidnapped by militia leaders, she must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), a former US Marine and warrior who’s living as a recluse.
Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed and how or if it will ever return.
The rebel group includes fighter Nora (Daniella Alonso); General “Bass” Monroe (David Lyons), a former Marine who served alongside Miles; and Aaron (Zak Orth), a former Google executive and a computer genius who’s ill-prepared for the rigors of the technology-less world.
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito), a cultured former insurance adjuster turned Monroe Republic leader and Nate Walker (JD Pardo) is a member of the militia who has conflicted feelings for Charlie.
Episode #42 — Declaration of Independence
Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.
First aired: May 21, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
I want Revolution continued. The “finale” looked more like an effort to setup a cliffhanger for the fall and in no way comprises a competent story completion. However, the Pinheads In Suits making these choices are the same Pinheads that fired Jay Leno at the top of his game. Twice. A better model to follow here is Fringe where the story arc naturally concluded, and did so in a very charming, compelling way. I hope that Revolution gets the same chance to end well.
I do not want the series to be cancelled me and my mom and dad and several friends watched every episode. I was surprised to see it canceled and should continue where they actually win instead of just making us think they have which just annoys me greatly.
I agree if your going to cancel at least give the show an ending!!!!
Great show. Never missed it. I was shocked that it was canceled. Seems like all the shows are canceled too soon now a days. Remember Seinfeld did horrible at first but now it is a money making classic
Unfortunate … This Was One Of The Better Shows On Television.
It was amazing!!!!!
The time slot killed it. Put it back where it was and you’ll get the viewers back. It’s not a 7 pm (CST) type show.
This is a fantastic show !!!Every one I know loves it and can’t believe it was canceled.
Please bring it back NBC !! We do not need another doctor, police or reality junk show. This show really made you wonder what you would do in that situation. I also agree with the others the time change was stupid. When you have a hit show keep where it started.
Of course I vote to bring it back. The problem NBC was were you slotted the show. You put it up against Survivor. (No Sh_t) what did you suspect? To bad you couldn’t see how many house holds had taped the show only to watch it later. Change the time or day and see what happens. At the very least, do a final show and end it right.
Awesome series. Bring it back and let the story continue.
It was a great series. I can’t believe it got cancelled
I also really loved it. It explored the possibilities of human nature when catastrophe happens with a little Sifi thrown in. Bring it back want a better upbeat ending.
not a clif hanger for a finale so sad bring it back for a proper ending at least
Please do NOT stop the series of Revolution. I have not missed but a couple of episodes and made them up on the Computer. The show could very easily show us what might happpen if we ever lose all our electrical power.
Thanks
Renew it!! This is one of the most throught-provoking shows on television, showing us that actions have consequences, scientific curiosity shouldn’t be indulged indiscriminately, and the sad consequences of moral failure.
Bring it back!! It is a really good show!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do NOT Cancel- Bring back
