Oops! Good Morning America recently made the error of announcing the next season of Scandal would be its last, The Wrap reports.
ABC has already renewed the drama for a sixth season, which will premiere in 2017.
During the Pop News segment of GMA, correspondent Lara Spencer said season six would be the end of Scandal, prompting creator Shonda Rhimes to correct the mistake on Twitter:

Spencer later apologized, saying “we can all breathe now” that the show isn’t ending anytime soon.
