The story of Spartacus has been around for 2,000 years but it’s time for the Starz TV show to come to an end. Despite the fact that it’s been a ratings success for them, the cable channel has said that Spartacus: War of the Damned is the last season. Will more people tune in to see the show end?
The final season of Spartacus airs on Starz on Friday nights and there are 10 episodes. The cast includes Liam McIntyre, Anna Hutchison, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Dustin Clare, Ellen Hollman, Gwendoline Taylor, Jenna Lind, Manu Bennett, Simon Merrells, and Todd Lasance.

The premiere was down year-to-year, compared to a 0.6 rating in the demo with 1.39 million viewers.
Reference point: The second season, Spartacus: Vengeance, averaged a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.35 million total viewers.
Cable ratings are typically released within a day or so of the show’s airing, except for in the case of weekends and holidays. They are sometimes harder to come by so there may be occasional delays or gaps.

I have to say; from the moment that I’ve stated watching Spartacus I’ve instantly love the story but to find out that it won’t continue anymore I was shocked. I was a big fan of that show and here I was hoping and can’t wait for another season then find out that that was the finally. I’m very sad and upset and I hated the way it ended. I’ve cried so hard after the end and couldn’t believe it that all of my favorite characters die….. Very sad there won’t be a 4th season. One of the most entertaining shows… Read more »
IT’S AWFUL I hope it’s a season 4. If not I will be cancelling starz. Spartacus is the best show that is on Friday nights. PLZZZZZ make an other season.
I work 10 hour days and have a round trip four hour commute. I generally don’t watch much television. This show has been the exception. In fact, I have watched without fail. I must say to Mr. DeKnight, Liam, Dustin, Dan and Manu –everything associated with the show is beyond words. Excellent writing, acting, set design, costumes and casting. Perfect. I like many will miss rushing from the train station to make it home just in time to see Spartacus. You could have given us one more season but it was not to be. I absolutely love this series! Tbh, this is the first series I’ve watched with the intense sexual and violent material! I know it can’t go on forever but it Wud be nice to have at least one more season! I am excited about Divinci Demons coming out. Hope it has a huge selection of story lines to have the ability to keep it on for several seasons. I love history and even tho some may not be historically accurate , its fun to think about the way life existed thousands of years ago, which I think the writers of Spartacus… Read more »

Very sad there won’t be a 4th season. One of the most entertaining shows I’ve seen. the power struggles and backstabbings are brilliant. Such a shame it won’t continue. And Liam Mac Intyre is filling out the role well now.
